put together a decent all red build, sometimes sub in a piece of gila guard.
doesnt seem to matter if i run glass cannon talent or not, still die instantly if hit.
skill builds seem sorta wasted now.
havnt got a 4 player match made game since the update.
havnt done a heroic since the update as i cant get in the door on most, unless you like spamming 1000 rounds at a heavy.
disappoint about the lvl 40 and other gear that is now paid content on top of already paid game. very. keep your stupid watch.
dark zone is still fun but since majority of players i run into are less than 500 gs, makes squading with them pointless as the gear drop is all their level.
dark zone is the only place where damage and damage output from enemies is mostly balanced. you hit like a lvl 40 in there pretty much.
gonna keep playing mostly solo until i get bored, then i will just move on. perhaps back to d1? its probly more a active playerbase than d2 without wony expansion.
Indeed I have the same result with Heroic missions, need to still try a CP but I have a feeling it's going to be the same thing.Originally Posted by NoDeityButGod Go to original post
I generally ignore DZ but what you said here intrigues me, I'm going to go check it out.
I totally agree on the traders, they will probably be useless after your library is maxed out. Feels like a gut shot to have that nice to have removed from your available options.Originally Posted by elmister88 Go to original post
I salute your ability to change and adapt, it's been sink or swim for me in game.
I just look at the effort vs reward. Effort is clearly winning on my side.
I can't really comment on Bungie as I only started playing Destiny 2 about a month ago. But I could clearly see that they want you to spend time in game to get to max gear. That's great for people that can give that amount time away. This is what I love about The Division in general the Item drops can be brutal if your very specific. But I have found so many weird and wonderful builds from using the Items I was not looking for.Originally Posted by Propinquity Go to original post
After Gear 2.0 the builds feel super specific to me and the way you drive em is also very specific. Allot of freedom seems to have gone away. But I also love how easy the gear is now too. Very conflicted about it all at the moment.
Getting really tired of getting 90% purple's, and gear drops as low as 450. Kinda hard to upgrade when nothing is an upgrade. The one shot sniper shotgun, the bugs, weak skills that die as soon as deployed... I'm out, and may revisit in a few months to see if and how they fixed it. Hell, I only have a month until my boat comes out of storage and I start pulling shrimp pots and going fishing so I may see how it's going next fall.
The drops are not that bad for me, maybe around 60% purple however around 90% sub 515 gear score.Originally Posted by SwissyBaroo Go to original post
I have adopted the loot as junk feature for any item not 515 and loot as favorite for the 515 drops.
What were you doing that gave you all the purple drops? Open world, activities, missions?
LOL the question was 'non DLC owners hows your game going' and the vast majority of responses was 'I'm playing something else' shows you the pathetic fxcking state devs left the base game in, and how they deliberately segregated the entire community to those who pay more and those who won't. To anyone and everyone defending paid expansions on top of season passes or yearly passes or battle passes or whatever, it is YOU who are fxcking the gaming industry. Billion dollar devs like Ubi bank on your stupidity to Pay to Keep Playing, and they are winning.
So, hows my game going? SH!T. My builds got destroyed, I can't play with any friends who have the expansion, and its clear the base game has absolutely nothing to offer at all. After one year. Nothing. For a live service game that is a fxcking joke, and its the last time I buy anything with Ubi or Massive's name on it!
