Not All Gear Dye Work on All Gear

So the title says it all, or maybe rather it's not all gear accept gear dye. I've been playing around with some of the gear dye that comes with the season pass, but not all gear can accept certain gear dye. The Striker and System Corruption sets won't accept any of the newer dyes. The Hana-U gloves only accept the old black dye. I know gear dye is low on the totem pole of things that need fixing, but some players like myself like to have either crazy looking multicolored, color schemed, monochromatic agents roaming around New York/D.C.
Side note; again I know this is likewise a low priority, but can you please change the color of the Covert Hunter pants to black? When people think of a black outfit, they think of an all black outfit. Or perhaps give us apparel dye? That way we can color not only our gear but our clothes as well?
    Cheers!

Striker gear in particular won't accept any of the new shaders and the striker kneepads don't even show a slot for it when you inspect them.

If you want to color them, you have to apply it via the apparel skin function.
