You don't need to be "Maxed Geared" for heroic.
I did multiple missions on Heroic Yesterday with directives ( Cooldown \ Ammo \ Fog of war )

Though Heroic does require Red Builds to be viable but gear above 75% all 3 stats is recommended.
It also does require basic understanding of gameplay mechanics and weakness of enemies.

For example Survivalist can 1 shot plates on Tanks using Crossbow allowing super quick burn.
For example Final Boss in Space Admin HQ. If you Crossbow his chest plate - he can be burned down in 2s.

Keep in mind PLATE ARMOR and Standard Armor are 2 separate mechanics.

Bye. I see your threads and all you do is complain about others wanting to enjoy a game. Dude it is a game not life.

They built this update for the 1% players. Not for the players in general. Cool new players come in but when they reach the level like we have they will drop the game. Due to the state it is in right now. No one wants to play a game and make it a job.

Explain this since you know everything about the division. What is the common sense in giving an npc 25 million total in health and damage? There is none.

Now if you want to keep putting every one down here on the forums that’s on you. But massive didn’t build the game for you. They built it for the public to play. Now if you want to get with massive make a deal for you to have the game on your own go for it.

But this whole thing has been a mess from the first one. I stuck through it. From beta to the day I left that game. They have repeated the same exact mistakes in the division 2 they said they wouldn’t make like they did in the first one.

Don’t play challenging. The play heroic. I mean if you are that great of a player. They nerf challenging so what. Better then nerfing every thing we use in the game.

Here is the thing. Think about this. Why do the NPC have better gear then the division which is suppose to be like the top of the line. Why did massive just put things through the recycle bin on this expansion? Because they did the same exact thing with the underground. Same thing with every update they have ever done with the game.

So if you want to leave leave. One player isn’t going to change the mind of a company that could possibly bring a lot more back.

Any time I hear Massive and Nerf in the same sentence, it makes me cringe.

What have they said for making challenging easier? play on hard. Or what is the point of hard and normal.

Just put the loot up a bit better so people on hard can get equipped for challenging.

I mean it is no lost for me. If they cater to the people that made division 2 bad. They deserve what they get. I left before, do you think We won't again? They get a second chance. If they waste it. They will pay a heavier price.

Having to farm for gear to do harder stuff is a must. You act like I did not leave before, and can't easily do it again. We all drop this game like a bad habit to the point they had to do a revamp to get us back. If they want to go back on that, they will pay a price again not us.

    Totally with you.

Heck TU6 and TU7 there was virtually no difficulty setting now we have them they are going to be rendered pointless from challenging down, i'm a casual middle difficulty player where challenging was the right setting/middle ground.

We have normal and hard for the new/beginner and gear starter players.

We had in the middle challenging for those with gear that don't want it easy but also don't want it too hard and build accordingly.

We have Heroic and Legendary for the upper geared players who like a tough challenge and the top 1% player that have the top gears.

So one part of the player base has 2 easier difficulties and one part of the player base has two top upper tough difficulties, the other part of the playerbase had (HAD a middle ground difficulty for them) but apparently that's being made easier .

So now we have one part of the playerbase getting 3 settings for them, one part having 2 settings for them and one part of the playerbase with nothing in terms of difficulty settings that's right for them.

    Ho Hum.

i played mostly on heroic, until manhunt, it was impossible to do some missions with bt in a group because enemies took forever to kill in comparision to solo, on solo i can kill most of the elites with 10 rifle shots but then i get gangbаnged by sniper and minigun dogs, who will one shot you no matter how much armor you got, so i switched to hard simply cause i got tired of this mess and just wanted to progress the manhunt, now i can't change the difficulty because manhunt will be reset and i have to do all this crаp all over again
