Raids completed and world tiers opened but map keeps changing

    Hi

I am certain that this will be a "rookie" question and most likely to do with being grouped onto another player's world.

I only bought The Division 2 recently, I am level 30 and have completed all 3 base strongholds which seemed to unlock a world tier (after 2 of them) and another world tier after the third. Each time the Black Tusk seemed to suddenly appear all over the map and when I return to my normal game...

    - The Campus is not taken over by them anymore
    - The Capitol Hill Stronghold is "Restricted" (I have completed it twice)
    - Roosevelt Island is blue (accessible, but not white, I have completed it once)
    - Specializations are no longer available
    - I have been ported to a college/student area twice but the content is locked or unavailable and it has also gone from my map

I'm pretty confused by content progress anyway. Do you have to unlock everything on your own or as group leader "in your world" to unlock it... erm, in your world?

Any explanations here would be really helpful. Thanks!

Can you post a screenshot of your map? That will make it easier to understand your situation.

    - The Campus settlement is never taken over by the Black Tusk. However, it may be blockaded, stopping you from fast travel to it. You can get there on foot though. You can also clear the nearby blockade for a short while.
    - Capitol Hill might be restricted if it's still in invaded status (i.e. occupied by Black Tusk). You would need to clear the dependent invaded missions to unlock it.
    - A screenshot of your specialization screen would be helpful.
    - Kenly College follows a one-week on, two-weeks off schedule.

In general, you go through the world tiers by beating each invaded stronghold once (along with their required invaded missions). It doesn't matter what order you do them in. This then unlocks Tidal Basin, after which you're in World Tier 5. That in turn unlocks the episodic missions that ultimately lead into the expansion

[edit] I'm confused by the title saying you completed the raid - this isn't available unless you're in world tier 5.

Sorry, I used Raid, but I meant Stronghold. A Raid or Stronghold appeared on the bottom of the map but now it has gone (along with the college) and likewise, specialization has gone. If I screenshot you will see none of this because they are gone, including the "blockaded" Campus. It all went.

Could this be something to do with completing the Strongholds in another player's party? I seem to recall one of them was listed as locked but it let me do it anyway.
I have to say, it is confusing.

Thanks for your help though, it is appreciated.

Possibly, especially if you weren't playing on story mode. Screenshots will give us a better picture of where you are.

I screenshot my map and the Strongholds but I'm not sure how to post them here.

    In the simplest explanation.

    - I reached level 30
    - I completed District Union Arena (alone)
    - I completed Capitol Hill (in a group and someone else was group leader)

...This gave me a world tier 1...

    - I was shown the map with Black Tusk taking over, a new raid/Stronghold in the south and the Campus blockaded
    - I was then transported (with the group) to the slightly off-map college
    - not much here made sense

    When I logged in again...
    - my map was back to the map previous to world tier 1
    - I soon did Roosevelt Island in a group
    - then Capitol Hill again

...This gave me world tier 2...

    - I was shown the map with Black Tusk taking over, raid/Stronghold in the south and the Campus blockaded
    - I was then transported (with the group) to the college again
    - now 2 missions were available for matchmaking and the third was locked

When I returned to my own "groupless"ness

    - my map was back to the map previous to world tier 1
    - My map now shows District Union as white and says, completed, Roosevelt Island as blue and Capitol Hill as red, restricted

Maybe I did an invaded Stronghold as well....

Yes, I did 2 invaded Strongholds, along with 2 invaded missions (the ones that are required), this took me to tier 3.
However, like I said, that's gone. I'm guessing it's something to do with the group I was in?

Upload them to https://imgur.com or https://postimages.org/ and post a link here. Mouse over the strongholds to see if any required missions are listed.

My guess is that you joined a group that had completed the missions to unlock the invaded strongholds you played (Roosevelt & Capitol). This allowed the group to play them and advance the world tier on that map. However, it doesn't sound like you unlocked those invaded strongholds on your map?
