Why did you messed up the Division 2 this much? It was fine, it was good until you changed the whole game with the WoNY DLC! The story was good, the UI and the changes in the recalibration are fine, but the loot and the difficulty of the enemys are s**t. Since I bought the DLC i get nothing but crap shotguns and SMG's. ALL THE TIME! I played for about an hour and i've got 10 shotguns and 2 smg's. that's it. Why? My loot was great before, i've got some assault rifles, some rifles, and other stuff too, now it is just shotguns and those damn smg's. Same with my buddy. Shothuns all over the place. And the difficulty. I have 1M armor, and a single red health enemy can melt it within seconds and I'm dead on hard difficulty. The challenging difficulty is a hell to me right now. I don't say that you should make the game easy, but come on... I waste half of my ammo on a boss while the other 10 ****heads roast away my armor is seconds. Then why do I have 1 million armor? Before the DLC i had 300k armor and i didn't die once on challenging difficulty in any mission. I barely had to use my repair kit or the drone. It wasn't easy, but it wasn't hard eather. It was perfect. Now it is a f***ing nightmare... on hard.
If you only make the loot a bit more diverse, That will make a huge difference for me. But now this is just bad.
I'm sorry if i offended other players who likes the current stuff in the game.
Use cover i hear. Thats whats throwing you off isnt it? Its the cover thing, its allllllways the cover. Damn cover. I was confused at first having to manually push a button to achieve cover. It was complicated. BUT, i practiced and practiced, and now, i cover like a pro.
The real trick, is popping out and back in. Thats pro stuff though and im just watching old d1 player vids til i git gud.
Its a convoluted theory. It has a lot to do with a button input sequence, but its all a mystery. The old vets will figure this out and all will be made clear soon.Originally Posted by MadDogg59 Go to original post
Thank you for your "helpful" response. I played a couple hundred hours with d and d2 but i never noticed that there is cover in the game. Sadly my problem isn't the cover. But I guess this is what happens when somebody write a stupid thread. Gets stupid responses.Originally Posted by yasuredude Go to original post
The key is to not get shot. To achieve that, use cover, and then use cover-to-cover movement. C2C movement is way faster than running in the open, and you'll get hit far less. You'll survive longer and not be as frustrated. Also, when shooting from cover, do so in bursts. Don't pop up and mash the trigger for 30 seconds. That allows all of the mobs to put bullets into your face. Faces are not meant to have bullets in them.
I'm sorry. I don't think your thread is stupid. I'm just parroting the meme of the day making a poor attempt at a joke. I tried to make it clear. Shoulda put the *sarcasm* thong in there.Originally Posted by GoultySoul Go to original post
I wrote this thread out of anger yesterday. I use cover, I move from cover to cover, I scan my surroundings all the time, but some days are just not as good as others. But I'm now cooled off, so I'll get back in again as always.
BTW, none of you think that my complaints are legit, or you just get along with it?
And yasuredude, I get the sarcasm but I just wasn't in the mood for it.
I feel where you're coming from, I tried to like the diluted down kindergarten version of D2, but couldn't. No build diversity, nothing to experiment on, which was the main allure of it. Uninstalled, as nothing left to do for me in this created world of theirs. The life has been sucked out of it.
