I've been sitting on this idea for a while. Let me know if you guys like the premise.
Command (Name pending)
The gist is that the two teams race to kill a breach commander that spawns in the centre of the map with a large neutral squad of pike men, as in they'll attack both teams. When the commander is killed, that player then becomes the "commander" (You don't actually turn into a breach commander.) and is given a shield and damage buff while the pike men stop spawning. When your team has the commander role, you gain points over time and it becomes a race for the other team to kill you and gain the role for themselves.
To avoid the commander running around to survive, they will also be given a speed decrease to compensate so you need to rely on your team to help keep you alive. There will be buff zones with the health regen buff to give the non commanding team a fair chance.
In the rare chance the commanding player kills themselves, say jump attacking from a ledge, the breach commander will respawn.
I think this may be a fun way to bring back TDM in a new package since its pretty much dead and players tend to respond better to objectives other than just kill.
