Why is my FPS dropping to 20 so often?

So I just got this game during last sale and based on some youtube vids the graphics looks nice even at lowest settings. However, even set at lowest settings, I cant seen to run the game at 60fps constantly. It hovers mostly about 45fps then drops to 20 every now and then. My pc specs are Ryzen 5 2400g, GTX 1050Ti, 8gb Ram 2400Mhz. plz help

Should be good to Medium settings with that build.

Only FPS drops I've had were last night, we put it down to environmental issues (lots of particle effects occuring).

    Generally run on HIGH

    Ryzen 5 2600
    RX 580 8GB
    16Gb 3200Mhz

Try bumping up to Medium default, then scaling back on things like FoV, Water, smoke etc. See how that helps.

Also check your BIOS settings for APU are correctly set to Auto/Off or similar. You have an APU processor and the system may still be allocating RAM to the APU instead of system.

I have the same issue, or rather close to it.
My FPS sometimes drop to 40fps (from 80-90 fps) and stays locked there no matter where I am in the game. Almost like it's getting framerate locked (something I do not have enabled).

Settings wise I'm running on high, with GeForce 1080 8Gb, 16gb ram, i7-5820K OC 4,25Ghz.

It's the only game I'm experiencing this in.
