Like the title says, I really would like an explanation on exactly how the loot drop and stats roll functions and not what is already known, or obvious like targeted loot, since I wasn't able to find anything about that. What I would like to know are things like:
What are the stats to expect on an item that drops in the different difficulties?
What are the min/max values that you can get, in the different difficulties? If there are any at all? Which I doubt atm.
Why are items that drop in challenging, or even heroic worse than items that drop on normal? Example SR-1 MMR Normal version: 579.2k, 9% MMRD, 82% HD, 7.8%RS vs. Challenging SR-1 569.3k, 6% MMRD, 70% HD, 2.4% RoF (Yes, the last attribute isn't the same, I know. I just added them to add all stats)?
Is the hidden gear level somehow taken into account for scaling the enemies?
What stats are deemed the right ones for each of the difficulty? For example how much armor should one have for Normal up to heroic?
The difficulty adds about 20% to the min roll per difficulty. DO NOTE this doens't affect chest drops. Chests are always rolled at normal difficulty.
The reason for the gun is simple, the 9% MM vs the 6% MM. The damage on the weapon is completely based on that first Core Roll.
Normal can drop god rolled items just a heroic can. Normal just has the full Stat bar available to it while heroic has only about 40% of the bar for RNG. But both can still get a triple god rolled item. Higher Difficulty does not affect the max stat values.
I was actually writing something longer, but the site decided to delete everything while I was writing..... So just a quick one, could you please point me to the source.Originally Posted by Dragonmaster083 Go to original post
