True sons Heavy Grenadier Tank NPC

He is 100% Out of hand extremely Unfair at times to even deal with His Grenade spam multiple Grenades at at time is a bunch of BS it’s obnoxious and His radius of damage is off the charts .Trying to avoid him and The other NPCs is ridiculous who came up with these guys .This isn’t remotely challenging or tactical his Damage is wrong all wrong .Very cheap Instead if Staying in the middle of a fine line At times NPCs were programmed to step beyond it At times be obnoxious as possible

While extremely annoying to deal with; I always use the terrain and/or obstacles to my advantage. I try and factor in the arc of the grenade from where he's firing from, and place a large enough, or low enough object between myself and him. This is also to ensure I have a clear line of sight, or adjust if I'm moving around corners, etc, and to prevent any splash damage from the grenade from hitting me, or stopping a direct hit. It's tedious, it's annoying, but it's not impossible. I understand the frustration though, their range is pretty ridiculous and the AoE on the splash damage is a bit much.

He is actually really easy -
Flank him and shoot his red box on his backpack.

Once it explodes it destroys all his armor + forces him to use a gun.

The AI in division 2 are actually smart in that they don't use GPS homing signals to find you.
which means you can actually sneak around the enemies and enemies will focus on your "last seen position"

Hmm, I find grenades very easy to avoid, especially those from NPCs wielding a grenade launcher. Whenever I hear the "pop" sound from a grenade launching, I just double-tap a movement key to dodge to the left or right, and that's usually enough to get out of trouble. Some enemies fire 3 grenades in a row, so I need to plan ahead and look for several nearby cover opportunities to cycle through. The fights against these guys take rather long since evading these grenades takes considerable time and I can only shoot them in between while they are reloading - but they aren't difficult. The only time I get hit by grenades is when wait too long with my evasion maneuver because I wanted to get a shot or a throw in before dodging.

^^ This - "enemies respond to your last KNOW spotted position" - if he saw you move behind cover, he will keep aiming at the spot you were in. If you manouver around the cover and come at him from the back, hes not facing you - he will be facing the area you where in. If he arrives at that spot and your not there, he will THEN start to look for you. You can actually move from left to right on a short wall and shoot a bit from each side and he will always be facing hte other side you were previously on.

Also, there are some skills that damage weakpoints directly - so you can sling those at him too and if they break that lil box - he will do the above behaviour ^^
