Build diversity in TU7, come on. Either everyone was basically running a clutch build, a sniper build or the Skill build that could 1 shot an entire room of elites on Challenging difficulty. Skill builds work JUST fine right now even on teh hoeric level. You do realize you have a gun to use with a skill build right. Your gun still does 100% damage to enemies (and can proc talents). Your not supposed to just be throw a skill, get instant win out of it. The budge system on gear was horrible mess and basically allowed you to be able to deal damage, take damage and use skills with no trade off. When your speedrunning basically the HARDEST content available, theres a massive gear problem. The raid was spedrun in like 5mins, Heroics were being done in <10m.

Being great at everything? You mean like the enemies we face? A enemy medic can outheal your damage, and the moment you stand up, they can burn you down with gunfire faster than you can gun them down.

No, not everybody ran the same meta builds. I sure as hell didn't so there goes your argument there alone.

I enjoyed throwing pieces together to see if an idea I had would work for a build, and you know what? The tools I had in TU7 allowed me to do that, and in TU8, they do not.

I never asked for some ******** MMO classes. This game is not an MMO. It never will be an MMO. THe only time you ever see other people is in safehouses or safezones. You don't see them out in the world outside of the DZ, I can't go help a guy who just got jumped by a Elite Patrol unless I press a button to load into their world on their team to do so.World of Warcraft is an MMO, and I can easily go do random **** with random people ion the same world environment without having to load a separate instance.

A skill build means using skills to deal damage. I'll say it again just in case your reading comprehension is off, skill builds use skills to deal damage. Your gun is not your main method of dealing damage. That would be like asking a ******* Warlock to cast skills and also run into the fray with tank and dps to beat an enemy up. A mage should aslo carry a 2 hander sword right?

How about a Bard-barian? If my music doesn't do the work I need to you, I can always beat you with my dragon bone guitar.

The e-peen guys who scream about needing hard content can have this crap update. I stopped playing. My wife stopped playing. The rest of my clan has stopped for the most part because all the work we put in sicne launch was casually thrown out the window by the developers because they wanted to cater to try-hards. 12 days of playtime isn't exactly casual levels, but it aint hardcore eat sleep and breathe Division 2 either.

When you are max level in a game, it shouldn't feel like being level 5 and fighting skull tier enemies. I shouldn't feel as though I'm back in Breakpoint shooting T-800s. At least those Terminators made since because they were terminators. A random *** scrub thug in a wife beater and sideways uzi should never be able to A be accurate enough to laser beam me, and B do so much damage that I have to retreat at gear score 893 because I'm getting my peepee slapped by trash mobs.

Hybrid builds were fun. THey allowed the game to be fun. Now its an oversimplified slog with a whole new can of worms calld SHD levels that don't do much to counter the negative changes.

They really should have done a PTS to test changes before simply mass rollout. Perhaps small changes over time instead of one small swoop so we could have had a chance to stomach the changes and counter. Nothing pushes people away like going to sleep one day, and having 7 great builds for all specializations, then waking up the next morning and every single one of them has been destroyed, with random gear stats assigned instead of worhtwhile ones as promised, gear completely missing talents that made the build I had even worth the effort, and all my hard earned skill mods trashed. How the f*** does +560% Striker drone damage get reduced to +3.4% healing. Even at Overcharge, my striker does nowhere near as much damage as it used to.

I had full red builds for crits with LMGs. I had full yellow builds for Hardwired. I had full blue builds to be able to play hyper aggressive with my Spaz and Premeditated. I had hybrids were I could use a specific skill and utilize my gun that had skill centered talents on it to compliment said skill. I had conglomerate builds were all 3 stats were evenly distributed so I was effective with all, but nowhere near a powerhouse.

This update single handidly destroyed any faith I had for this game. I have been here since day 1 division 1. I farmed that ******* Showstopper since the day they released it in the update and I didn't get it until 3 weeks before Division 2 came out.

The developers simply stated they wouldn't make the same mistakes this time around. They stated we could play everything solo.

They ******g lied. And I, and no doubt countless others both here, reddit, other forums, and players that dont come to forums for answers and instead simply log out and never play again, don't like it. Keep the AI changes. Tune the damage they do. Give us back our mountain of talents. I went back to Division 1. Where you can experience the feeling of power.

Find some better cover, you can't run around like you did in TU7

Ive completed Neptune on challenging and have started to re run it on heroic. Great fun.

Completed on a level my build and myself were comfortable on and are now attempting it on a harder setting, none of this going straight to the hardest level and complaining its too hard.

For reference, I haven't been one shot dead on challenging mode at all yet, heroic yes, plenty of times. Been blown up by those suicide outcasts on challenging and the new lucy type warhounds though

people who are crying miss running around one shotting enemies. thats not a cover shooter game. its obvious devs wanted people to play more tactically and use cover and play as an actual shooter instead of some godlike character running around one shotting everything. its obvious they are catering to the ghost recon fans while the game is going through some major changes. not complaining since i prefer ghost recon over div . only bought this game to hold down till immersive mode for bp releases. either way fix div2 performance, the performance dropped a lot since last update, bugs and glitches galore.

Because THAT'S how a game with roles should be played.

Wanna tank? Get in cover, best form of damage mitigation. Need aggro? Got cover? Go into cover and watch the npcs get pulled.

Wanna heal? Get in cover, but here's where it gets complicated. Call your fixer drone and send it to the tank. The button sequence will baffle you at first, but there is nothing more riveting than pushing one button and then pushing another. ADDICTING.

Wanna dps? Get in cover and blond fire. Rifles work best. Whatever you do, DO NOT leave cover. Can't kill if you can't cover.

This ain't a game for the faint of heart.

I am using cover most of the time but Flamers, Grenadiers, Throwers, RoboDogs and some others doesn't care - they just throw their **** at you and you die instant!

It’s easy to see those who do and don’t understand how cover should be used. You can’t expect to sit in the one spot in cover and not expect to die like a rookie, you actually need to think about where you can move to in cover and plan out how you attack some harder missions. That’s why they have the easier modes for those who don’t know how to really play the game. With the new changes there are so many more players back into it who stopped a long time ago and enjoying putting builds together.

    Yep, cover is god...

Like yesterday I did the Bank invaded mission and at the last boss we were all in cover and the doggo, a few steps under us, sprayed its cyrcling machinegun and killed us all, because its bullet are stopped by the cover but not by the floor...

...some ppl just won't realize that some attacks are simply broken or bugged.

but i don't mind, you "gid gut" guys will never learn it and always defend "your" game - doesn't matter how broken or bugged it is^^
