And look, I get it, I haven’t been able to put together a competent enough team to do the Raid, but that’s on me, not the devs. There’s tons of options out there for me to find 7 other players to join up with. If there’s something out of the DZ you’re looking for you can prob make a post here asking for help and you’ll have a ton of volunteers willing to help u. You just have to take the initiative to do so.
First off, you're taking the phrase too literally.
Play however you want never means that exactly. Skyrim boasted that but you had to hit enemies to kill them, you had to use/learn magic to do the college of magic quests, you cannot refuse some of the daedric quests because you'd die on that decision.

TL;DR - you can't please everyone all of the time.
Its a PvE centred game... sooooOriginally Posted by dagrommit Go to original post
Kinda missing the point there chief. I found it funny how the OP is complaining about DZ exclusives, while someone else is complaining about open world "exclusive" loot.Originally Posted by CloudWOmega Go to original post
What exotics are locked in the DZ?Originally Posted by dagrommit Go to original post
Maybe you should ask the person who claimed they were? It used to be the Pestilence was a DZ exclusive, but I'm not sure if that's still the case.Originally Posted by SlipAngle3 Go to original post
My understanding of "play how you want" is that you can build your character to suit your play style, which (to a greater or lesser extent depending on how salty you are about Gear 2.0) is pretty much how it works. There's a difference between "play how you want" and "get whatever you want without putting in the work"; the OP might as well say they want all exotic L40 gear but they don't want to have to shoot any bad guys.
