Gladiator is Atrocious in testing grounds

I’ve played for honor since the game came out and only play warden. I’m not god tier but I’m pretty good I’m currently platinum on ranked. My friend who literally just bought the game used gladiator against me in testing grounds and literally slaughtered me. And literally all he did was spam RB. I tried everything and even pulled out orochi and shugoki but I had no luck. Rolling and dodging doesn’t work because he can track you and it’s too fast to react to on console.

His light span is insane and even orochis can’t keep up with him. If anyone has any tips on how to deal with gladiator light spam with the new stats as Warden I’d really appreciate it.

To beat lightspammer, you need pressure them just as hard or learn their pattern.
As warden, you probably could punish him with dodge-bash by dodging the last light of the combo.

P.S. you can also dodge lights combos. check the video on i-frames for light attacks.

Since you play only Warden, you are not used to people who actually has near equal strenght in duels, therefore, weaker heroes suddenly having enough strenght to fight back feels broken. I was in the same shoes after the pk nerf two years ago. Don't worry, you will get used to it in a few months.
