    2) no need for more talent slots
    3) i can agree about adding more mod slots on gear sets or somewhat improving their stats (just a hidden buff for 20% for rolled stats would be nice)
    4) i don't want TU7 with a bad rpg elements at all. That faceroll has gone and that is wonderful.
    1) The game is dumbed down. Don't absorb the empirical evidence right in front of you, just take the devs word for it.

    2) You need something. My 10 year old can make a build now. Might as well just have premades characters.

    3) That's all the other talents were on gear, essentially.

    4) All you had to do was adjust enemy damage and armor....ya know....like they are doing right now. What they didn't need to do was administer this gear revamp. Total waste of time.

And what complexity was in using 2 or 3 talents? Everybody used Spark and Merciless in Offensive build (yes, only one build). Plus that garbage Berserk....
Right now we have 3 talents (chest, back and gun) that are multiplicative and greatly improove our perfomance once greatly set. All passive talents were moved to stats, so again, building around those stats+talents is the key.
Some talents/skills are out of the balance, but in general everything is much better now. Some tuning here and there (aka balancing TTK) and the game will shine.

I'm so glad that we got rid of that Faceroll **** in TU7.
I cannot understand nor agree with this statement. There was never a way to build perfectly into everything, you always had to make sacrifices which if focused (as we have now) would make all reds more insanely powerful than the multibuilds.
The problem was never the buildability, anyone claiming so does not understand the system as it was. The problem was scaling, we were given access to large power creeps while the AI was not. They could have lowered the max values across the board and added in these max min bars (to visualize maximum roll for gearscore rating). The problem was not too many talents, nor too many stats, it was just a matter of value changing.

Reducing build verity did not fix the issue, the fact that enemies were overinflated is the only reason that things "feel" harder. How anyone thinks that the old building system with new gear and a look at the values themselves couldn't have worked is beyond me.

Its utter nonsense, hell even with the old system if you ovetune an enemy you would still feel useless and feel like you have to build into all red again to overcome the damage. An argument could be made that maybe there were too many stats to keep track of, but there is no way that can be said of talents.

Because they want to bottle neck us into using the same builds.

I build to run the raid. I ran Aces in Yr1 and wasn’t a full red build. So not part of the Tip, Spotter Nemesis lot.

This time round with armour and health being so useless I decided to try something different. I’ve not watched or listened to anyone to get ideas of how to construct my build. But upon completing the raid I’ve looked at the other players who’ve completed it and we’re all using the same gear.

If that isn’t bottle necking is into using the same gear then I don’t know what is. We all build for the same purpose in the raid. To dish out as much power as possible in order to complete it. There will always be a meta in every aspect of the game because there is gear and weapons with various rolls and talents.

This update has done nothing except push people into finding new loot to build builds that served the same purpose.

My EB build used Unbreakable. I still use Unbreakable on my AR build. The only different is I don’t have to spec into Blues to unlock it.

Skill builds will never be viable in the normal raid.

People use the same build because of Youtube. I saw a build yesterday on someone using a crit exotic gear build wit bloodsucker and abominable. It was crazy!

Yeah the FIRST raid was resigned around DPS. Nothing they can do about that now. I bet your bottom dollar the second will require a skill build.

It will require 2 tanks, 2 healers and 4 DPS. Plus a lot of hazard protection.

    ehh

Yeah talents were gutted big time and damage to elites gone... Best way to play the game at the moment is go ALL RED.. That's not my style so I'm out of luck.. I like skills and let me tell you skills are in a bad spot at the moment.
