Greetings! The Division forums are now archived and accessible in read-only mode, please go to the new platform to discuss the game

Too easy to trivialize the content before, AND its easier for them to balance since there are ALOT less moving parts. The game feels more locked down now. Ingenuity is definitely hampered. Builds seem more controlled, where before it was the wild Wild West.

Massive want players not to solo and to have multiple gear sets and not just an all-arounder. Massive did not like how we were playing their game, in a nutshell.

To simply the game for casuals who kept whining that the gear and build system was too complex.

Well, you got what you wanted, but I uninstalled the game after purchasing the expansion. I guess you won.

So, Faceroll with everything was a good design, right?

And what complexity was in using 2 or 3 talents? Everybody used Spark and Merciless in Offensive build (yes, only one build). Plus that garbage Berserk....
Right now we have 3 talents (chest, back and gun) that are multiplicative and greatly improove our perfomance once greatly set. All passive talents were moved to stats, so again, building around those stats+talents is the key.
Some talents/skills are out of the balance, but in general everything is much better now. Some tuning here and there (aka balancing TTK) and the game will shine.

I'm so glad that we got rid of that Faceroll **** in TU7.

Say whatever you want. But to even make this game remotely interesting, they'll need to put talents back on gear, make mods with 2 attributes, or whatever.

You know what you'll have then? TU7 with a new skin. And you will have been forced to farm for it all over again.

    Congrats?

    1) game is much more interesting now.
    2) no need for more talent slots
    3) i can agree about adding more mod slots on gear sets or somewhat improving their stats (just a hidden buff for 20% for rolled stats would be nice)
    4) i don't want TU7 with a bad rpg elements at all. That faceroll has gone and that is wonderful.
