Why is easier to Parry than to deflect?

Is because of the buttoms disposition? as we are more use to use the "trigger" than another buttom?

or because of the 2 buttoms needed being use with the right hand (better coordination than if you need 2 different hands?)

I don not know, but for sure is far easy to deflect.

    Why?

Majority of players probably have a dominant right hand, plus gliding a mouse is much easier than having to press a different button for the correct direction in addition to dodge. Just feels way more natural.

you have more window to parry than to deflect

deflecting requires you to dodge in the direction of the attack just before it hits you
while parrying you can input your heavy with a wider timing's
i think in trials mode there is a parry tutorial where it show's you the window of parrying attacks

    Not for me.

I deflect on console with pk and glad.

But with pk more. Can do it to lights and between mixups. Can parry but is easier for my to just press one button and profit. Can bait others to do top lights /heavies and deflect those. Why tops? Because the reading is easier for me. And the other player becomes afraid to throw top lights after a while.

Also with side lights but I try to do a dodge attack that also with the correct timing can become a deflect.

My reaction time is 330ms to 300 at 35 years old. 290 well hidrated after a nap. 270 to 280 ms with a well charged cup of cofee, no sugar.
