Hard world difficulty Bullet sponges? Really!

Well iv'e been hanging around DC on hard world difficulty for a short while and noticed/thought enemies were going down faster than yesterday, so I though i'd find a named enemy and crew just to see how fast I could take it down.

To my surprise quite quickly, infact the named went down the quickest.

My build before anyone says is a DPS all red (well no its not) out of all core and minor attributes I have a grand total of 1 Red stat that's it.

First off my build is perfectly visible at the start. then you can skip to 3 minutes in to see the action (the rest is filler) couldn't be bothered to trim it at 3 am.

Take note how fast the named goes down, and then at 4.04 the purple NPC on the right, he get melted in seconds. (notice I always have 3 to 5 procs up

    Not my experience tonight.
Getting rushed by everything, grenade and drone spam.
I picked up a bounty from a hostage rescue, it had 3 named BTSU bosses, 1 medic, 1 heavy gatling gunner and I never even saw the third.
That was my whole night on just Hard, no directives even on that bounty. I was getting b**** slapped like I never have at any point in the year I've been playing. I have had nights similar and they seem to come out of the blue, maybe it lasts 1 night, maybe the whole week. But it seems like a switch was flipped switched, with extreme prejudice.

Then I must go back to something a few of us were talking about.

Maybe it's bugged for some and not others, iv'e put up several video's one clearing an ELITE territory in 5 mins (DC base game 515) when others had said they couldn't do it because they were getting slapped silly. But in mine it was fine.

As you can see those purples and the named melted quick, with my build (or maybe it's my build)????

Once again, this is Console you're playing on.

I had the same experience. Global difficulty was set on normal, then i changed to hard after i noticed enemies drop much faster.
Then even on hard i barely had any problems unless i positioned myself poorly. Might try challenging today...lvl3 CP was not too bad either (lvl4 still impossible for me, but lvl3 gives me a blueprint too so im ok with that).
I did some tweaks in my build mainly adding some crit chance...although my gear is still nowhere near decent... i think only the kneepads and chest are the only pieces i'm more or less happy with.

Not sure what happened as there was no maintenance or patch. But if it stays that way, i'm okay with the current situation.
Then i get my *** handed to me after maintenance and crawl back to "Normal"... we'll see.

    So?

Or do you believe in the fallacy that was spread around this forum that somehow the game is different and easier on consoles.

And before you answer remember when the raid was released (go check who/what and when completed it first, how long it took and then check to see how the console version got on. Then you might find the statement you are trying to make (that's its easier on console) is just a smoke screen.

PS: and notice I said it was easier than yesterday (meaning it was harder at some point)

I think there may be some kind of difficulty bug I can rarely tell a difference when I change difficulty from challenge to hard.

Hard mobs are one thing and heroic BTSU guys are something entirely different and they are heroic so they should be hard to do.

I'm on PC. I bought the DLC. I played with a 500' in DC challenging (missions). I did this because of the complaints here - I had no problems with it.

Even if I don't want negate a "anomaly", I can't confirm it. It's still fun.

    That's my experience.

I noticed this aswell. i had major difficulty on a CP4 the other day. yesterday tried a CP4 again and i felt it was easier - not easy by any means but it only took ~40 mins or so whereas the day before it was probably over 2 hours.
