Why on earth side attacks with leaping range while switching targets it's considered a normal thing in this game ?
First it gives you mostly unparriable attacks with a broken (if any!) animation. Heroes with huge range attack like kensei, highlander, raider, nobushi, just abuse it with maximum reward and almost no punishment.
Add to this a little spike or lag ( because yeah, Ubisoft sucks) and you have the perfect condition to make it a mecanich abuse-fest.
Dominion players on PC simply point a target press a side attack and switch targets every time, maximum win, almost zero punishment.
But yeah, FH "devs", nothing new...
Heroes with bigger zone of attacks risk getting parried on the side. As Highlander, I got parried plenty of times by someone on the side, who I didn't even mean to hit.
Target switching catches someone off-guard who tries to attack non-stop during ganks, but if you notice that the ganked player doing target switch, you can just wait and parry.
Because of that Highlander, for example, is quite weak. He can target switch, but his attacks are easy to parry and give you plenty of time to react you. Kensei is harder, but some of his attacks that he likes doing during target switch are too quite reactable, like dodge-attack. Nobushi... common, it's like crying that a homeless person has a penny.
I see.. you don't actually know the trick, ok, nothing to see here, move alongOriginally Posted by No0ne_- Go to original post
You know you don't have to try and parry everything, right? Easy solution: stop trying to parry everything when you're in a team fight. Learn to adapt to a team fight situation by blocking and dodging more instead of fishing for parries. Learn to recognise when an attack is not locked on to you and seek to minimise situations where you have a teammate that is directly behind you. Keep an eye on your teammate's positioning and adjust your own accordingly. If you're not sure whether an attack is locked on to you then don't parry it. Don't throw out attacks carelessly in a team fight, instead focus on punishing the enemy. Learn to recognise when you can hit the opponent in their recovery after their attack. This is called improving your game sense.Originally Posted by MuscleTech12018 Go to original post
.. Or you can just blame the devs and whine about how something that many other players can deal with is "maximum win, no punish!"... Your choice.
Imagine playing FH in 2020 and lecturing someone on a lack of knowledge but complaining about a fundamental mechanic in the game that should've been mastered years ago.Originally Posted by MuscleTech12018 Go to original post
