Me personally didin't think it was a good advertisement for the game being hard/tough.

13 mins for a heroic CP4 is not long (considering when the game released it took 25 to 30 mins for just a CP4 with no Heroic setting.

    but GG anyway.
Well, I appreciate the good feedback.
And yes, the changes to friendly NPC's were really nice, although they can obviously do more damage than the players can at this point (which does not make sense due to them being a barely trained civilian militia, compared to a profesionally trained SHD Agent)

When the expansion launched, I was VERY unhappy.

Same litany of issues as most: losing my lvl 30 build, feeling like a squishy target, not being able to even take down red bar enemies, and having a hodge podge build that had me gritting so hard my molars ached.

    Today, challenging content is comfortable.

The difference is that my gear has improved, but is far from min mxed. But most importantly, my playstyle evolved.

    Tips:

    1. Keep your distance. Using a Marksman Rifle to chip away enemies is recommended. You cannot stand toe to toe with higher level opponents - accept it and follow this tip.

    2. He who runs away, lives another day. Don't be too proud not to run. I prefer to use the phrase stick and move.

    3. Patience is not a virtue, it's a necessity. Wait for your shots and wait for the right time to start an engagement when things are stacked in your favor.

    4. Check your six. Watch for flankers and roving mobs that can be attracted by the gunfire. When flanked, pull back and reposition.

    5. Break down the fights to 1v1 bite size chunks.
Kite your enemy to an area beyond the support of his friends and then turn the tables on him.

    6. Use automated means to engage and deal damage and pinpoint enemy location, especially in low visibility situations. I once ran around a control point tossing my turret near enemies whilst it was raining and they couldnt see me.

    7. Cover to cover. Moving using this automated mechanic makes you harder to hit.

    8. Dodge and roll. Same as last, but it may buy you time get into cover to shove that armor plate into your chest rig. Don't run, you will just die tired.

    9. Always know your line of retreat. If you get pushed frontally or flanked, keep note of where to fall back to. Failing that, see tip 2 and buy yourself time to calm down and plan.

    10. Slice the pie on corners, don't stick beside them. Stand away from the corners and get shots on the bad guy whilst minimizing your own exposure. Slicing the pie is a military tactic that is used for good reason.
