Love the scenery, good changes in adding the asset library and overall positive on upgrading gear. BUT, right now this game is just a hot mess and I like others are just going to go play something else until all this gets straight.
Issues with Control Points, can't match make now, Bullet sponge enemies when that was one of THE VERY THINGS you said was being addressed in D2 (and it was in versions prior), armor is meaningless, skills are way underpowered STILL, have 1 million armor but die in two shots.... have 600k armor and die in two shots..... have 300k armor and die in two shots....
honestly, you really need to just back the bus up to a previous version of the game and start over making smaller changes, then testing on PTS first, then roll it out globally. Honestly folks as a senior manager in technology your team right now is doing everything wrong and every attempt you make to make the game better is making it much worse. You guys need to go grab a frapichino, sit in the conference room with the door shut and all of the dev team in there, then whiteboard out everything that is broken, set a priority list, and then come up with a set plan for instituting changes.
Then announce that all to the user community and go to work fixing this game. You have created such a great game shell it is a shame to see this go to waste but you are on the brink of losing even the very hardcore of us who have enjoyed it for so long from D1 to D2.
And while you are at it we NEED to have two things we can reroll on a piece of Yellow 40 gear not just one. That plus the new gear 2.0 would be perfect.
I cannot agree enough with you. I enjoyed WoNY story and most of the missions, but holy gods is the scaling in DC a hot mess. and the removal of DTE has made the bullet sponge enemies an epic joke.
I was looking forward a lot of what was talked about but now I'm honestly not sure if Ill even be able to survive the new seasons starting tomorrow.
Dude do you actually realise this is the problem with the game?Originally Posted by Im4Givn Go to original post
No matter how many clueless casual non-gaming plebs you put in a room, they will not design a game.
They have been trying for the past 3 years, ruined a perfectly fine game in a progress and released another garbage on top of that.
Welcome to 1.3 of division 1. We felt with this for the longest time. I think it was 3 or 4 months in the first one. They take the game destroy it and start over. I just took the survey I promise you they won’t like the answers.Originally Posted by Im4Givn Go to original post
Every talent they took out is what you need right now. The talents introduced now are more to skills. I have found anything to much of any build. Wait take that back lmg or rifle that’s what works now. There is no build diversity.
I am new to the Division 2 only been playing it a few weeks before Warlords came out.. I can honestly say I had A LOT more fun playing before the expansion than now. I'm doing challenging usually for missions and the gear just doesn't match the difficulty... The game just felt wayyyyyyy better before this expansion. Oh Yeah the bullet sponges people are talking about are REALLY real.. it's crazy.
They are very real. Just take a look at this: https://youtu.be/9YR6cWqtlIcOriginally Posted by RUFIORUFIOO Go to original post
Actually it might get fixed if we fill out the survey at the top of this forum just saying. I am on the side of those who hate the new content, and this crap 2.0 gear update. Although we will not be heard if we do not fill out that survey. So please take 5 mins out of your day, and stop feeding the git gud trolls and fill out the survey. Its the only reason they are sweating right now anyways. Since they think massive will listen to us if there is a majority who dislike the game. Which in truth would be the better decision since I know this company likes money. If we are not around money is not being spent. I personally was going to drop money on this game when the exotic weapon skins came to the market, and I bought the hunter costume to support the devs. Although when I got to the endgame content i decided not to buy any skins. Which all those skins togeather is a 30$ cash in for the company from one user. They should remember its the casuals they actually pay into the game. Not the sweaty try hards who can sit in front of the screen for 40 hours a week playing the game.
Again I am standing up for the casuals since I was a hardcore player. Hell I would be at the top of the leader boards on my guild leader board. Also currently right now I am still dz level 48 (was 50 but had a small war before the update with a few rouges) anyways as a hardcore player who spent more than 800+ hours on pc, and 400+ hours on console playing your game from Tu5 I feel that
now it would be a good idea to plug the hole in this sinking ship.
Overall though nothing is going to get done unless we fill out the survey. Cause i can tell you those sweaty try hards a filling it out as well. Although I know for a fact that democracy works, and if people are not in favor of these changes over being in favor of them then things will change no matter how many posts the sweaty try hards make calling us cry babies, and casuals. Also dont **** on casuals they are what give this game life. I enjoy helping people, and answering calls for backup. Sure they a learning, but in truth they should be respected, and not **** on by those in the community who have been more than toxic about others sharing there opinions. The side I am on has also been toxic. Although this survey gives us the ability to fill something out to give our honest opinion to the developers.
So please if you are casual or hardcore and want to see change fill out that survey. Its at the top of the forum in the sticky note. Post might have a lock on it, but the website for the survey is open. Just click on the link and finish the survey. Its quite quick, and will definitely be seen by massive. Although I can tell you they wont be look at individual forums since there are so many. If you really want to see changes made then you must use the survey to make those changes.
