    How do you go from this to this?



    Look at this damage mod. It's beautiful. It makes muh DeePS quiver in excitement. And this was just one mod slot out of 3 that required a very attainable amount of skillpower in 3-4 armor pieces, meaning you could fit whatever you want where ever you have free be it damage or more skillpower or even tank.

    Now look at this



    Why? Who on earth actually thought this was better? Okay so it has a lot more health i'll give it that, but before this patch I could equip 2 extra health mods which add around 150+% each and my drone wasn't dying to an enemy coughing in it's general direction. You're telling me that sacrificing my ENTIRE BUILD is worth it for some underwhelming damage and okay amount of health (not that it matters in difficulty where loot is actually good since every enemy hits like a 16 wheeler stacked on another 16 wheeler) Not only that but I need to have overcharged to have that much damage too, which is temporary and fairly hard to get and maintain, losing 55% damage when not overcharged at tier 6.

    Why is the meta always somehow going back to just raw gun stats? Just holding left mouse on an enemy is extremely simple and gets boring fast. When you see a number as FAT as 539% you get excited! All the scenarios run through my head where i'm thinking how I could absolutely destroy some dudes. These numbers are not exciting, and the build diversity is simply non existent right now.

    You either go weapon damage or you tickle the enemy with your feather bullets.

    Armor gets shredded, you'll last maybe 2-3 more seconds with a full tank build over someone else, unless you use shield and then you're sacrificing all your primary weapons for a poopy pistol losing even more damage.

    Skills are all just garbage, other than the healing ones AKA the most boring ones. I enjoy being a support, but not all game every game since nobody else is taking skill tier because it's god awful.

    Worse, overcharge is only a temporary state too.
    And that's another problem, all the skill system really affords us now is these levels, and 2% mods. We don't get to refine specific stats, area of effects are now locked to a very small max size, same with duration and health. We only get a tiny say in what those stats are with our skills.

    Yeah its pretty bland and trash tier now. I was all for gear 2.0. Then I experienced it. Gag.

    Ya. When I looked at all my mods and builds I was almost in disbelief.

    40% stim efficiency on booster GONE

    6 ammo on oxidizer GONE

    Radius, disrupt resistance, burn duration GONE GONE GONE.

    All my skill stuff I've carefully maintained just GONE.

    I dont know why many players say skill are garbage, however I do more damage with my turret and my drone, than when I make a 100% red build, you just don't know how to make your build, you have to choose the right attributes. stop cry about the difficulty, however I do the heroic missions as easily as before the update, stop complaining on the forums and go play to improve your build.

    Oh there were some builds that were awesome, just that they got kneecapped. For example, some people slapped a lot of radius mods on the firestarter, made it create a huge firestorm. The new mods? It only ups the radius by about 3% or so, not even worth using.

    A large chunk of the mods went from "very useful" to "utterly useless" in a single day which crippled some designs. Combustion Merit is no longer that easy to get.

    Biggest problem is, after completing challenging missions with a lot of effort. All we get are crappy gears/weapons, even in a targeted loot.

    Lying to yourself isn't healthy you know, that or you're bad at aiming so a gun damage build obviously wouldn't work for you
