How do you go from this to this?

Look at this damage mod. It's beautiful. It makes muh DeePS quiver in excitement. And this was just one mod slot out of 3 that required a very attainable amount of skillpower in 3-4 armor pieces, meaning you could fit whatever you want where ever you have free be it damage or more skillpower or even tank.

Why? Who on earth actually thought this was better? Okay so it has a lot more health i'll give it that, but before this patch I could equip 2 extra health mods which add around 150+% each and my drone wasn't dying to an enemy coughing in it's general direction. You're telling me that sacrificing my ENTIRE BUILD is worth it for some underwhelming damage and okay amount of health (not that it matters in difficulty where loot is actually good since every enemy hits like a 16 wheeler stacked on another 16 wheeler) Not only that but I need to have overcharged to have that much damage too, which is temporary and fairly hard to get and maintain, losing 55% damage when not overcharged at tier 6.
Why is the meta always somehow going back to just raw gun stats? Just holding left mouse on an enemy is extremely simple and gets boring fast. When you see a number as FAT as 539% you get excited! All the scenarios run through my head where i'm thinking how I could absolutely destroy some dudes. These numbers are not exciting, and the build diversity is simply non existent right now.
You either go weapon damage or you tickle the enemy with your feather bullets.
Armor gets shredded, you'll last maybe 2-3 more seconds with a full tank build over someone else, unless you use shield and then you're sacrificing all your primary weapons for a poopy pistol losing even more damage.
Skills are all just garbage, other than the healing ones AKA the most boring ones. I enjoy being a support, but not all game every game since nobody else is taking skill tier because it's god awful.
