    Launch issue feedback

It’s a couple of days now that I struggle with impossible launch or crash when entering the game (after menu).

I tested all the solution provided but the only one that works is the uplay réinstallation. If I shut my computer off, I have to reinstall uplay. The cache tricks doesn’t work.

    Hey Capoupacap,

Thanks for reaching out to us and I'm sorry to hear about this.

Just to double-check, have you tried completing steps outlined in the following article?

Yes I first followed every step in the support article. Surprisingly, My issues began with the game to crash when entering the game (after the menu). Then when I cleared the cache, the game just didn’t launch and stay in uplay loading.

It’s just my case but it seems the uplay solution isn’t related with an older version of uplay but some corruption between the game and uplay itself.

    Hope that helps

    Hey there.

Just to check were you deleting files in the cache folder or deleting the entire cache folder? If you were deleting individual files/subfolders this isn't necessary you can just delete the root cache folder and when Uplay starts up again it should restore these folders automatically.

I do apologise for any inconvenience caused by this, this issue is currently under investigation with the development team as we speak.

Thank you for confirming this. Could you also try running Uplay as an Admin and seeing if the issue still continues?

the admin right is asked after each reinstallation so I suppose it remain so yes. I checked it when the problem start in the windows menu, but didn't have any impact on the issue.

    hi,

As said at the start of this thread, I tested all the solution proposed in the support article but it seems only full uplay reinstallation works for me.

Same here. I have to uninstall Uplay and reinstall to get it to work and that is getting old. I have to do this about every other day
