Weapon swap change/ bug? | Forums

I have noticed, since the update, that a lot of the time I try to change weapons with my mouse wheel, it will highlight the chosen gun but it doesn't actual change guns... Is this an intended change? a bug? is it known? I have tried searching but couldn't find anything. I have asked my friends and they acknowledge that it happens to them as well and just comment that it's annoying but I can't even use my mouse wheel anymore. Someone know a work-around/ fix? Anything?

I've noticed the same thing. Swapping weapons with the mouse wheel does still work, but it now seems to get cancelled in situations where it didn't before. For example, going into zoom mode (by holding the right mouse button) seems to cancel the weapon swap now - I don't remember it doing that before the update.

I'm now using the keyboard to swap weapons, and I also wait a bit until I see my character grabbing the new weapon. For some reason, the dedicated keys (one per weapon) now work better for me than the "next/previous weapon" function on the mouse wheel, but that might be only me.

Same thing hear..I ask a friend he said his is fine..But he is superman so who knows for sure

I've been having the same problem and it's forcing me to get used to my number keys below my F1,2and 3 keys..
I went and looked in the support forum and seen they are aware of it.. So hopefully it gets fixed soon..

Same here. I play Marksman so I swap alot and this is a pain in the butt.

I changed weapon cycle to keyboard and it's still the same

Phew...thought it was my mouse wheel playing up as I'm having the same issues. On more than one occasion I've been f*kd by this bug - a rusher gets close so I would (prior) switch to my pistol very quickly and drop them but now not so as it will often not swap from my rifle or vice versa. A veritable P I T A.

Just to add mine does eventually work with a couple of wheels but what good is it when your in CQB situation.

I have the same issue. They say they're aware but no word of a fix, pretty terrible.
