Congratulations on ruining a game that was dynamic. Now you just stay hidden trying to kill an enemy, that when it doesn't attack you like crazy ... where's the game tactic? Robo of the pata negra that is running on the map shooting an infinite machine gun and another bonus of robo throwing bomb without stopping .... How about trying to give feedback to your audience of why they **** the game. Another detail, stop nerfing items and start nerfing enemies too, as it is very complicated to play solo or even in groups.
If I wanted to play the game the way it is, I would simply play The Division 1 again.
You can't stay hidden though, because the game is broken and every enemy on the map knows instantly where you are at all times. Then there's the messed up damage, I put a full magazine into a basic 'red' enemy (both headshots and body shots) and it barely scratched him, then as I was reloaded he gained superspeed and covered 100y or so in about two seconds before melee hitting me and taking 1.1M armour off in one hit and about 10% health too. Something, somewhere is very wrong with the game and UbiSoft know it, that's why they're keeping quiet about it despite all the reports.
You do realise that TD2 is a cover shooter right, ergo getting into cover is a major part of the game's core gameplay mechanics.Originally Posted by Devils-LH Go to original post
That can't POSSIBLY be true. See, everyone is returning and the old division 1 guard (yes all 27 of them) are here to save the day and the game, and us while they're at it.Originally Posted by GTP_Monkey Go to original post
We don't know any better. See, they saved division 1 so hard that it has, like, 3 or 4 people playing it right now as we speak. And WoNY vids are getting almost 50k views!!!
They learned their lesson, and all is good.
Blame the Pre-Gear 2.0 era.Originally Posted by Nifol Go to original post
Yes plenty of people want Pre-Gear 2.0 back but let us not forget some of the flaws such as a certain amount of people did completely forget that cover system was a thing due to their builds making them Rambo through Challenge and Heroic content since it was considered too easy for certain people.
Yes, we want Pre-Gear 2.0 back but also a bit more balanced out so it is not too low to a point people forget cover system exist in a Cover Base Shooter game.
You could only facetank heroic with a group of 4 damn nearly perfectly optimized builds.Originally Posted by orrthehunter Go to original post
If you're talking about 4 people using the BTSU gloves and clusters, then that's a BTSU problem. Fix was simple.
Keep it real now.
I hate to say it, but I’m in agreement. I can’t speak for anyone else’s experience, but the way this game is scaled right now feels awful to me. We just had a group spend two and a half plus hours getting our faces kicked in on Tidal Basin hard, and almost all I got out of it was a bunch of purple loot and mods.
I mean I know that overpowered Seekers and Rambo types were a thing, but to me, it feels like they used a Bulldozer to solve a problem a hammer could have fixed.
It’s my opinion, and only my opinion, that they moved the goalposts on difficulty way too drastically. I mean, how many AR mags to the face should a purple Black Tusk Unit be able to take, let alone an elite? Plus, I get destroyed when one of them breathes on me. So I try to switch out weapon damage to add to my 1.2 million armor, and then not only do I still get shredded when I eventually have to back out of cover due to grenades, drones, warhounds, or flanking NPCs, but I end up feeling like my gun might as well be the magic fingers as far as the enemy is concerned.
I feel like there has to be some balance point between the cakewalk that most difficulty levels were prior to TU8 and now. I know there are some folks who really enjoy this, and if that’s your style, cool. But it’s not mine, and I have to be honest that after playing 800+ hours in each Division game, I don’t feel like there’s much of a place for a guy like me anymore: A guy who has a limited amount of time for gaming per day, but made time and really had a lot of fun in both games up until now.
Unless that place is stuck on normal mode getting the worst gear in the game and not seeing a way to really better my build, especially with the number of loot drops got chopped and the number of ways to get loot was reduced as well.
You know, you can still go back on YouTube and watch the livestream reveals for TD1 1.4. They got such a positive response for lowering the enemy TTK, implementing Field Proficiency Caches, and loosening up the faucet on the loot a little bit. Now it seems that these few years later they’ve totally gone back on all of that, at least for the level 40 players.
I’m not trying to throw a fit or anything. I’ll play through the first season on Normal and hard when I can, and see if I can pick up some items to get better. I mean, I guess I could craft Hardwired again and use the Shield builds that are the rage right now, but that’s not really how I want to play. Hopefully they’ll make some adjustments. If not, then I kind of wish they would say that they’re not going to so I can move on to other things.
