Locked room with Hyena Lockbox. | Forums

In Downtown East between 14 St NW, H St NW and 13th St NW (right at the top) there is a building that you normally go into for bounties. There is a room that is on the 1st floor (not ground floor) supported by 2 pillars. In there is a Hyena Lockbox. Has anyone managed to get in there? I only noticed it today after doing a bounty from the Snitch. Cassie has some guuuuurd stuff today BTW. If you have got in there, how? I spent 20 mins farting about looking for any way in.

the standerd thing with locked doors in Washington is either -

1)it's got a lock on the door, this can be on either side of the door, obviosley its not on your side but there are a few ware you have to shoot through a window or gap in the wall etc

2) it's locked electonicly, if thats the case you need to find a yellow panel on the wall, your gun sight will go red if you look at the panel through your sight - this could be either in the same room, if this is the case then as above you need to find a spot ware you can shoot through a window/hole etc
or
if there is no yellow panel inside the room that your trying to get into have a look for a thick yellow cable coming out of the room your trying to get into and follow that, that should lead you to said yellow panel

Strangely enough there is none of that. and when you shoot the windows they wont allow a nade through.

I know this is an older post, but it's part of one of the earlier missions. I haven't ever seen it open outside of that Side Mission, which you cannot reply.

its one of the first side missions of the game. you get in there you never have a key, because its that early.
after that you can never enter this room again. asking that myself since the game started.

maybe its a secret, but most likely its just an oversight. one of many

Ok, so this should actually be a bugreport? Because I've just been searching the whole place for that lockbox that keeps taunting me on every bounty in that place.

If it's the box in the locker in the After Dark exposition building, there's no way to open it outside the side mission. During the mission you turn up the power and open the locker with the help of a npc. Once the mission is completed, you still get the option to turn the power on at the panel at the end of the giant expo room, but the power doesn't turn on anymore.

It’s part of a side mission, I did it again recently shepherding someone.....it’s just part of the story, don’t worry yourself about it

Yeah and also the Hyena Box in District Arena a locked box inside the wall my OCD gets kicked into high gear when i get those kind of locked boxes, and it is weird the door does not remain unlocked in that bounty location since we opened it up during our side mission so if we had completed the side mission could they not add some marker on the agent or what ever it is they do so that the door should be open, compared to people who have not done the mission or side missions.

That box is on the otherside of the wall and can be accessed After elimnating "Books", if you have the escalators to your back it's in a cage at the rear left behind the partition. I was at that wall and got frustrated myself so I locked onto it through the map and evetually found it.
