Don't have an issue with grenade/drone/or whatever spam but the fact that AI just doesn't use cover anymore whilst they are wearing tank skin is getting a little ridiculous, I have to agree. If it takes more time to down (armored) elites that's just fine but when they all rush towards a (solo) player that is were the fun stops. Usually I drop a turret when they get to close but it's destroyed the second after I have deployed it, not to mention it often just sits there doing nothing. Did get used to skills not working in TD1 and TD2 but at the moment it's just out of control.

OP forgot to mention the wobbling. You hit an elite in the head once, they start wobbling like mad, all while maintaining perfect aim.

    Here is footage:

This update reminds me of how Hyenas used to be before the first big npc patch, on the Bank mission on challenging. You all know what I'm talking about, that part where you have to defend the vault for 2-3 minutes. Before the fix, the npcs just walked right up to you, not taking cover as they tore you to shreds. The current nature & power of the npcs in this update brings back memories of those early "Bank Mission Days".

Exactly. I remember getting overrun by them all the time out on the streets while trying to take control of propaganda speakers.
I have NOT missed those days

This reminds me of Division 1 bullet sponge days, when shotgunners were the bane of all content, because they could literally survive team focus fire to the face, while they ran up and one shot everyone in a squad.

Gear: Decent WD and CHC/CHD and Armor

    Diificulty: Hard
    Mision: Can't remember

I really did not want to say this as i am a avid TD player but something feels wrong, totally understand the heavy's being bullet sponges but some of the enemies in this update are way to OP with armor and Dps.

I have had to re-evaluate my gear/builds over and over thinking i must be doing something wrong, it feels like my armor has no meaning, 600k or 1.5m they rip through it.

I know it's still early days but it feels very depressing to play.

In my head i am thinking

"Jeez i have some real good rolled gear with nice talents, even if i maxed out it all out i don't think it's going to make that much difference"

And it's that what is depressing me.

I will keep at it and keep re-doing my build as i can't imagine it can always be this tough surely.

Oh and the scalling between solo and group feels way off.

p.s This all started to happen once i reached level 40, before that it was no way as bad.

Eh mate just level up your gear +++ it's a RPG right?

Said every person who lives on a chair 24/7.

That's it!! That's the whack-a-mole (WAM, copyright, WV 2020) effect. And the NPCs have perfected it...lmao.

All the while you just have to wait for some white knight to come and tell you that it's still early, you have to play at the level of your gear/skill, you'll find better rolls, and in a few weeks you'll be running around gun blazing like it's nothing...
The white knights have sharpened their swords and lances and rode on the backs of their faithful stallions for days in order to arrive to the rescue of their beloved developers. They are not to be messed with.

But they also said solo should be able to do everything but the raid. I'd really like to see those guys doing the SOTG solo a legendary.
Dude, they haven't even played their own game, nevermind playing it on higher difficulties. What did you expect them to say?
