In the lead up to this expansion there was talk that changing your world tier would reset your checkpoints. But its been 3 days and I've changed world tiers numerous times and all of my control points have stayed the same. None have been recaptured by hostile factions and changing the world tier does nothing.
So it turns out we are actually not supposed to be able to manually reset control points. This was a miscommunication.
However, enemies are supposed to still go out and capture control points. But this is simply not functioning properly. I captured all control points in DC early this week, and since then, I've seen exactly one (1) takeover of a control point (this is over the span of 4 days now). Control points have effectively become a non-feature for all intents and purposes. And since blueprint projects no longer exist, I also cannot get the blueprints I'm missing. This is a big deal to me as farming control points was easily my favorite PvE activity. I now have little to no desire to play.
Also, just to add to the weirdness: Today, I saw an enemy resource convoy heading to a friendly control point... something is super broken here.
That's interesting.. wouldn't mind a source.. (please and thank you kindly)Originally Posted by Zezorex Go to original post

Yes, thanks
But it is surprising that so many people got it the wrong way. I am certain they said they would reset after changing global difficulty.
I am unable however to find the video or the sotg transcription where they said that in the stream. Was it in February? In a sotg or in the patch notes?
EDIT: I found it and honestly, they are contradicting themselves, there no much room for misinterpretation. Here is the video, go straight to the minute 38

the ones in DC don't really get attacked either , since the DLC dropped it seems they are attacking CP's far less often then it used to be.
i mean 1 in 4 days isn't going to cut it honestly , they should be taken back in a few hours at most , especially when your not re-supplying them what so ever.
This is "Great News!" guys!
This means we have finally won and completed the Division 2, and can now find something else to while our time away on (unless, Ubisoft feel that there is more to give and decide to make the NY change to enemy controlled).
From a Lore point of view, surely when the Control Points are safe... the war is over and the JTF and Division have won! Someone shoot some fireworks and lets have a BBQ!
