I recently buy division 2. I could play the game at the first launch. But when I wanted to play again the next day I got warning "The application was unable start correctly (0xc0000142) then "untrusted system file (C:\windows\system32\comdlg32.dll). I treid to delete the certificates at easyanticheat folder the game could launch but crash at loading screen. Is there any fix for this?

The problem is with the file not with the cache or game.
Easy Cheat detected the system file has been "modified" in some way.
This could either be from a cheat program or virus.
Press Windows Key + R
Type in CMD
Press Enter
Type sfc /scannow
Press Enter
!IMPORTANT!
Do not close this Command Prompt window until the verification is 100% complete.
Or use windows File checker

The Error
Yes, I've already looked into what EAC has said with errors like this.
sfc /scannow results
I've also tried DISM command line with no luck.
My latest attempt was to take a fresh copy of that dll from a windows 10 ISO, and copy it into the C:\windows\system32 folder while booted from a Windows 10 installation USB. STILL COMES BACK WITH THIS #%@#ING ERROR.
Its starting to point to a reformat and reloading of Windows but I really don't want to do that right now, until I get a new external drive and back up my current setup.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do next?
Did you run a Virus scan, it could be possible something is changing it intentionally.Originally Posted by Czarisyn Go to original post
Take the MD5 from Windows ISO and compare it to the one in your windows folder.
Primeiro abra a pasta onde o jogo está instalado, procure pelo arquivo "Originally Posted by Czarisyn Go to original post
thedivision2launcher", depois executa ele como admin e pronto, seu jogo vai abrir normal. Comigo funcionou. Espero ter ajudado.
