Upgrading Exotic items issue | Forums

just now when I hit the stronghold of the Capitol, I opened the stronghold warehouse box and gave me a red 40-level shotgun（ Exotic items）. When I took this gun to the White House to upgrade, it upgraded. After becoming a level 30 attribute. When I upgraded it to another more advanced red shotgun（ Exotic items）, it also showed level 30 equipment attributes. This is a big bug. I hope to recover it as soon as possible and restore my shotgun to level 40 attributes.

the released DLC and update 8 completely ruined the game ..... for me the disgusting thing is that upgrade to 7 and existing exotic weapons will not be upgraded to level 40 ..... and that 515 will be written in development though it doesn't matter because everywhere is tier 40 ....... completely destroyed dlc character and everything ...... why was this necessary ???? .... for me this game is over, I'll be willing to continue as soon as they give me an opportunity to upgrade my exotic weapons and stuff to 40 ..... because I'm not going to farm again .... I'm the only player and not clan member ..... it would be justifiable to ask for a refund because dlc just ruined the game and the gaming experience

I tried upgrading Chatterbox and Chameleon - Chatterbox in NewYork and Chameleon after returning to DC; both are listed at "Level 30" and are very low numbers across the board. I confirmed that my work bench is listed as level 40 and I even crafted a level 40 weapon before trying to upgrade my exotics. Sadly I wasted an exotic pistol to try upgrading two other exotic weapons and got nothing in return. This needs to be fixed please and if there is any way to reimburse the lost exotic material used in the two upgrade attempts, that would be awesome.

Add a non crafting note - I just looted a new Chameleon and while it is listed at level 40 - the dps and core attributes are still very low compared to other level 40 assault rifles: 37.5 dpg, 4% AR dmg, 3% health dmg, 2.5% crit hit chance vs my crafted Tactical MK16 replica with 65.9k DMG

you can't upgrade exotics to level 40 yet. they said you will have to farm for them again at level 40. Until they release the ability to upgrade them to level 40

The base item is lvl 40. Is only for a visual change.... but convert the item to 30 .... It's ridiculous, it makes no sense

It isn't just the crafted version of Exotic that is the problem and frankly if they new there was an issue with crafting it should of be disabled in the crafting station until it was fixed. Not everyone has time or interest in watching SotG hour long videos and I did not see anything in the known issues. - But Exotic drops seem to have a similar issue of very slow numbers compared to normal level 40 drops.
