I set it to 5. i am playing with mouse and with 0-1 deadzone, my guard can switch automatically if I move a mouse a bit. I just don't get why design Highlander around dodge and heavies, then give other heroes undodgeables and then give 100+ms recovery after OS cancel. And now, in TG our heavy damage (that is so slow and easily reactable) is equal to berserker's heavy that can be feinted. and his another heavy that can be feinted too is 45+ damage.
I believe wardens too having hard time against Tiandi and JJ.
Winning as tiandi: just mush mixups with zero thought process.
Winning against them as HL, Warden, etc: feint, guess what's up and parry.
And now with stamina changes, it's even harder to kill those two and a berserker.
I will put it this way, I fought rep 10-25 Wardens, Kenseis, Centurions, Conquerors, Orochis, etc. and I won many times. They jump on rep 1 Tiandi and JJ, I lose 80-90% of the time. With berserker I have just harder time, but new players play him wrong and just waste stamina whiffing, but if it's rep 10+, chances are I will lose.

For example earlier I was fighting I landed a hit and did feint into GB. Before I can complete my GB Orochi zoned me and that's it low on HP I'm dead. So what are we supposed to do now. Land 1 attack and wait.
This doesnt solve the light spam issue. Light spam happens because people cant react to it parry or block. Can I parry Orochi Aramusha PK after this on console? Answer is no. This light trading is BS imo but we will see how it goes. The thing is if enemys basic light attack is faster whatever you do you cant do anything. I have been playing in TG people still get light spammed to death. I believe this change is going to give even more advantage to fast spammers. Because other end is gonna become more desperate to counter the spam. You gonna throw a light or dodge boom parried.
I still see PK Aramusha Orochi on top let's see. Light spamming people to death. For example with Aramusha he has infinite light combo so I have no way of counter attacking and reacting. He is always on top
I really wish before doing this kind of change they should have worked on revenge and death balling which is broken AF at the moment. With most ridiculously designed hero Jorg ganking is at its worst.
This so called "devs" literaly contradict themselves at every patch they releaseThey never had a plan, just mimicking some sort of "profesionallism" watched from other companies, probably.
One day they'll buff the light attacks, other day they'll buff the heavy attack, then revert everything back, then they change to a more aggresive gamestyle because defence is meta, they they buff the defence and encourage this playstyle because .. err.. "we wanted aggresiveness but not light spam"

Fought rep20 aramusha for 30min (several duels) in TG on PC... yeah, he's soft feint is truly unreactable now. you just gotta guess. As Highlander, I just kept distance from him, I'd attack with full stamina do my mixups and dodge backwards again to get my stamina back, cause standing next to aramusha is so much harder now.Erhanninja

P.S. whoever it is you're playing, stop chaining your lights all the time. Sometimes do one light and grab or parry whatever they do counter your chain lights. As Highlander, I light spam first round to see what they do and in the next round, I just counter it. If they like dodge attacking, I just parry that. if they just dodge, I grab, etc. Exceptions are as usually JJ and Tiandi.

His bash beats my kick. So he can just bash me on reaction, even if my kick comes first.
And if he's on medium distance, he can just do light-undodgable. And because of ms recovery added to OS cancel, I won't be able to switch guard in time, if it's no on the right side.
Even if I time it correctly, his tiny hammer beats my attack with my giant unblockable sword

After I use one mix up and 1-2 offensive lights and make one mistake, Jormungandr can put me out of stamina to do 80-90 damage in one go. And if I make a mistake somewhere in between the fight, I won't be able to attack him offensively, cause stamina. And if course, creating space from him is not so easy, cause of his forward dodge attack that can be canceled and that undodgable and I believe it has hyper armour.
Yeah, I get it Wu Lin faction and new heroes needs to have tons of tools and be strong to motivate players to buy them and rep him up, but f*ck you, developers, for not caring at all for older heroes who are getting left behind. I am so f*cking tired of investing time in heroes that I like only for you to nerf them to the ground and then add a new hero that can has twice more tools and equal damage.
One of the rep70 warden main is planning to abandon him, cause his damage got nerfed, the whole one-sided-dull shoulder bash his designed around is now counterable fully by someone like Tiandi and, to lesser degree, Shaolin and JJ. I believe shugoki would have the same problem.
Sidenote: good job designing Rocksteady, so Highlander can forget using kicks and grabs. Why the f*ck would he need that.
Jorg is probably the worst designed in this game. I dont know what the hell they did with him in TG but he is even more cancer. Why the hell give a move only attacks stamina? There is no punish only reward. Stamina is big topic in this game but they give him punch. How incompetent. It is ganking god move in 4v4. They call it synergy with other heroes we call it ganking. What were they thinking. Its is nearly impossible to dodge and gimmicky as hell to dodge. Just punch boom on the floor 50 damage plus 50 shield on top. Good luck closing that gap in you aren't ganked and dead yet. Attacks animations being very subtle was brought up before but they go give this guy smallest attack animation ever. Punch also stops stamina regeneration.
I have the same problem. I play as Nobu and since Season 1 she got nothing but nerf over and over. Feats damage moves everything. No offence no defence no opener no HA no UB no soft feint no gap closer no stamina.
Then I thought oh I will play Hito since I cant deal with light spam. Then they nerfed her to the ground too. People kept crying about her HA even though Shugoki Zerk even Jorg has better HA. Her heavies are so slow now people can land a heavy and take a step back safely. Even dodge it then parry it plenty of time. Just to do same damage with others.
