I know it is early days and we're still building and farming for gear however the enemy scaling seems out of balance when doing Hard and above difficulty activities in a group of 4.
I'd like to know how other Agents are finding enemy difficulty and time to complete activities at Hard above when in a group of 4.
I rebuilt my lvl 30 build last night and it kicks *** in damage.. Enemies went down pretty easy on a 2 man hard mission.. However, I was planted in cover because the enemies hit WAY TOO HARD.. You don't get much of a chance if out of cover and not covering your flank.. I think that's the intent of a cover shooter but IMHO enemy damage to players needs to be toned down a little bit.. not much, but some for sure....
Its frustrating as hell now. What Ive done solo week ago is now imposible. Global difficulty on normal, capture point at 4,and i cant even clear 1st wave. First I was thinking about my armor is to low,and I need improvement. But being melted at almost 80K weapon dmg , 1.2M armor and 360k hp is pushing me far far away from even minding I can solo those activities they gave us. And if enemy scale this bad for group. What can we do now? Enemy now reminds me of my first RAID run. Bullet sponges with damage like a train.
What confuses me is that a m1a1 Rifle that hits for 300k is killing red enemies in normal with 1 head shot but a 90k lmg is taking 7-8 shots to the head to kill. Neither gun has headshot multiplier on, im using the gunner spec and none of my gear has headshot multipliers on. The lmg just - doesnt hit as hard as it says. However - the 500k shotgun will kill ANYTHING even though technically it should be the weakest gun i own. I presume that the "armor" damage mod on the shotgun is hitting the enemy HP bars too - because "The Grudge" came with 7% armor dmg on it, and that thing melts EVERYTHING. Its the strongest smg i own, and again its the weakest.
When solo the difficulty seems okay and not much different then before the update. Join a group of 2, still fine, but just did District Union in group of 4 and if it's supposed to like that I'm not sure many players will ever complete some commendations, like not going down during a mission on hard. It takes forever to take down an elite, but they down you just like that, reminds me of melee kills in TD1 on legendary. Besides all this I have the say that I also suspect server performance to play a major factor in current game play, skills don't work most of the time.
I've been noticing this too. my turret melts armored enemies. It's completely ignoring any shields the enemies may have and dealing direct dmg to the armor and hpOriginally Posted by CplEntek Go to original post
Playing with my fresh 30 clan mates and it becomes adventures in babysitting holding hands and singing kumbaya and hoping that the party doesn't wipe while we try to murder the mountain of health and damage reduction red bois. Even in story mode it's dumb, but ramping up to even hard causes wipes and failures. It should feel tough, but it shouldn't feel like you have to focus fire on enemies one at a time to get enough dps out to kill the thing in a reasonable time. There are some seriously noticeable balance issues at this time, and it's killing what fun remains in the game.
