(PSA) --- DC damage scaling is way off the charts

I'm pretty sure the title itself is self explanatory but to further elaborate on what that means, Go ahead with your level 40 equipment and roam around DC doing some public events or what not. Don't be surprize if your get killed multiple times cause that's just how things are in the DC region right now.

Might consider posting your stats to further highlight how ridiculous this is cause this is what is constantly happening in DC as of the time the patch went live. I thought it was the gear stat that went completely blank so i took more dmg, but considering i replaced some of the gear with the current existing and still feel like i'm a glass cannon means that this isn't the gear problem then.

Not only this, the behavior of NPCs was also altered.

Before the update, shooting at an NPC made it search for cover and it interrupted it from rushing you. Not any longer, you can shoot them until you run out of ammo and they keep charging at you.

And it looks to me the number of mobs and their aggressiveness was also highly increased - I was trying to stop a public execution and after my first shot enemies started pouring from all directions, grenades, molotovs and snipers. I got 2 or 3 of those exploding kamikazes hitting me one after another, few seconds apart. I died, of course.

The aggressiveness and number of NPCs and their ability to absorb insane amounts of bullets reminds me of Division 1.

I guess that was meant for the WoNY and not us but hey, i guess we get to feel 1st hand of what WoNY has installed for us without the expansion

Quote: so people are forgetting what they said in the last SOTG. Normal missions will get you ready for Hard. Hard will get you ready for Challenging. Challenging will get you ready for Heroic. If you're thinking you'll be able to jump right in on Challenging missions after the Gear 2.0 switch, you're going to get crushed

That Quote is utter garbage is your not doing any of that and just roaming around DC alone. Plus, that quote doesn't even work here considering even with after patch gear. A yellow sniper in DC can 2 shot you is what i would considered as something way overpowered to be handle

It do make ya tweak your combat approach, don't it?...lol. I'm in a "feet don't fail me now" mode frequently when roaming the neighborhoods of DC. (not an expansion owner)

I mean, I'm all for aggressive AI (preferably SMART aggressive AI) and even good with increased mobs but this buff bug needs to go ASAP. Lose that and keep everything else and DC might just hit that sweet spot of not a cakewalk anymore yet not the exercise in masochism it currently is, either.
