    Day 2 mixed feelings...

    Day 2:

Started out well. I was able to talk to community managers.

    Onward.

Game feels "balanced". Challenging but not overly. I am not even near build completion but for some reason I have no issues whatsoever so far. I may be wrong but I believe some of the frustration from others stems from them being used to a certain type of game play coupled with their builds. I've always played AR/Sniper/Striker/Seeker and for some reason everything continues to feel "natural" to me. Some of my favorite talents got wiped out but looking at all of it combined - the rolls are decent and the damage/survivability is... "balanced" and "manageable" . Still rolling through levels but so far so good.

Perhaps we are facing 2 issues here (compounded) *put the botched launch aside):

    1. Those without the expansion are scrambling to find alternative builds (AR guys - chime in here please, any issues?) while being confined in the same old environment. Basically what you were able to do pre-expansion you just can't do now.

2.Those with the expansion are mostly ok and are (depending on the play style / builds they were used to) coming around and moving along (albeit the bugs).

The mixed feelings on my end come from me actually enjoying the expansion so far while realizing how someone not used to this new game play and having their gear rolled into something they were not expecting - may have issues.

What I say is - adopt and enjoy what you can. I guess I just got lucky having played the game AR focused all of last year and I happen to find the expansion rather fun. Time will tell but so far I have no complaints (besides the BUGS!!!).

Those of you that joined us recently for $3.. please, you know, right? Those who were with us through most of the year - admit it guys, things got boring, we were rushing through heroic like nothing. This is something new and please take at least a week to form your opinion. I know I will but so far - I am not shocked or upset at all.

P.S: Gear drops seem to place emphasis on defense... my lvl 30 re-rolled gear is still better than what I am seeing drop, then again, could be my offense - oriented play style.

I plan on doing exactly that once I hit 40 on this agent. I have a 30 left behind. Not in Kansas anymore eh? I figured that, give me some time and I will honestly reflect on that as I am doing with the expansion.

Why not do both? Get that level 30 and roam around DC to tackle some enemies

Then use your level 40 to tackle those same enemies and see the difference

Oh I'm not scrambling. You missed the mark on me.

My problem is that I don't want to play Fortnite for adults, I wanted a fixed The Division 2. I also don't like being lied to, so there's that.

Well, to be honest, I am having fun in NY so far so as much as I'd like to contribute to the community - I am not a streamer or influencer so I will stick to my original plan and get to 40 first just to get a good feel for it tbh. I spent a full year in DC so I'd like to get a fair comparison between DC then, NY now and DC now without knee jerking.

Not sure I understand... was this meant for me? Who said you were scrambling? Who said that you were part of the product development plan with what you wanted and who lied to you? Take a deep breath and explain yourself or just take a timeout.

I just wanted to add my name to the list of people enjoying the update.
I stayed in dc for a while doing dailies and did not find the enemies to be bulletsponges like some have said.
I then went to ny and am having a blast. Ignored the missions and just got lost and enjoyed every minute of it. I would go into detail of the things I like and others that could use some improvement but since this forum is the same 10 people complaining on every thread, I just don’t see the point. But on the off chance someone from massive sees this, great job so far.

Okay, don't need to scramble, don't need a deep breath.

I'm not scrambling to make a build. I have everything. Already did it. This is one of your main focal points of your original post. Please remember what you yourself wrote.

I wasn't a part of any development plan.

Massive lied to me, and you, and everyone.

In other words, your theory has holes. We can insult each other back and forth if you want though. You'll lose, but we can have a go if you want.

Well.. I haven't attacked you in my original post, neither had I accused you of anything or implied anything. I do not have a "theory" and I am not forcing you to agree with my observations. I do not feel that I was lied to... I could continue this discussion with you but honestly... girl, don't go away mad...
