When I approach the Control Point officer there is a prompt to interact but nothing happens when you do, they need to fix this fast.

    Hi Massive / Ubisoft,

Recorded video of the same problem described by others in this thread.
Pressed and held the interaction key (F), but when interaction should have completed, the result was as if I had not pressed the button at all.

Tried to reset things by fast-travel to safe house then return to CP, but no improvement, as shown in video.

I captured the CP before "unlocking" safe house as I did not know that this sequence of actions is not allowed (after I started looking for a solution, I found a post that says one must "unlock" safe houses first then capture CP or the CP officer will lock up).

Same details in video description section:
    1) PC, Win10; retail version of Division 2 and WoNY.
    2) Using new character, started playing 5 Mar 2020, after patch on 3 Mar, but before scheduled patch on 6 Mar
    3) Continuous session from start of WoNY expansion until bug encountered.
    4) Captured control point before unlocking safe house and talking with community leader;
    5) Community leader of safe house gave a multi-step quest, including one step to supply a control point so went to the friendly control point, but when pressing interaction button (F), the interaction commencement sound is audible, but the prompt to provide any supplies will not appear.

    Best regards.

same in foggy bottom or what ever that is called there. No menu prompts has been a recurring thing for me since I started but the control point resupply is the most troublesome. Multiple times during a game I find menus not coming up, no display on inventory and death screens, delayed menus when logging in. On many occasions I find myself stuck in place while the client loads in textures and assets which appear blocky and unformed for several minutes at times. Interiors of buildings not loading, Mobs appearing invisible but still attacking and damaging the player. I can hear sound effects like gun fire and explosions around me, take damage from them but they don't appear at first, until I'm downed.

To be fair folks, this is not a thing that can be fixed transparently. From what I understand, it is a problem in the server instance. It isn't the game client. When you fast travel or logout/login to try to work around, what is happening is that forces you to establish a new session to a server instance -- hopefully one that is working.

Hopefully, the back end is architected so as to be very micro-service oriented. Meaning that the server that handles the control point officers doesn't handle much else -- and certainly not anything not related to control points, etc. This would allow the rebooting of the faulty server code without impacting much else. I would guess this is the case and they are frequently restarting these instances to try to avoid them crashing.

But when they do that, anyone in that instance is going to experience the problem. There just is no way around that. So some are likely seeing this because the server instances are being restarted as memory climbs, etc.

A permanent fix is going to require an update to server code, and a maintenance window. And we know how well it goes over the the player community when there is an unplanned maintenance window.

Alongside these challenges, there is also the high risk that the fix and deployment of the server code to fix this might negatively impact something else.

We really need to be patient and let them go through a reasonable process, because demanding it be fixed without proper testing/QA might cause us all lost gaming time next week.

That said, no it is not unreasonable for customers to expect a better launch. I get that a PTS would have been a problem from the perspective of spoiling the surprises etc. But PTS could have happened on a smaller scale to flush out these issues. Maybe there was an invite only private technical test, but if so I wasn't invited. Would have been happy to help and glad to sign an NDA and would have protected the information as I protected information in the USAF.
