March 2 2020 update - PC - Game not starting

Anyone else having a problem with this? The game was running fine, received the patch tonight and now it will not start.

I have rebooted, updated graphics drivers, rebooted several times, but it crashed on start up.

Thank you for reporting these issues to us, we're sorry to hear this has been the case.

At what point are you guys seeing the crash occur? Do you get any specific error messages?

We would certainly advise ensuing you've all ensured, as mentioned by the OP, that you have all the latest updates for your system and GPU.

Certainly we would also advise verifying the game files, which will check for missing or corrupt files and replace them. For Uplay follow the steps here, for Epic Games Launcher follow the steps here.

No Black Screen. It crashes on the loading wheel, at 20% sometimes 21%. Already unninstalled and reinstalled the game.

I don't get the Verify Files option when I click on the three dots options as shown in the link

The game crashes after the logo splash screens consistently and I get dropped back to the epic launcher.

EDIT - I was able to find "Verify Files" by going to the UPlay Launcher.. running it now.

EDIT2 - Woohoo! Its fixed. Uplay launcher found corrupt files, did a DirectX installer which Epic Launcher did not and now the game has started. Looks like I'm all good here now !

Glad to hear that has been resolved for you, amoghal.

For the other users, if you have already verified the game files, please make sure you have been through our further troubleshooting steps in the Support Article here.
