Ubisoft, why don't you fix the autosave bug?

Or at least give us the possibility to switch the autosave off?

There was another update of the game, but still no fix for the autosave bug, that makes the game unplayable if you continue playing after 100% is reached (for example, to level up weapons), due to massive freezes, that last longer the more you progress.

You ignore that bug since a long time, without to tell us the reason.
Are you not able to fix it?
Don't your customers worth a fix?
    Do you just don't care?

Sorry, i don't understand such a behaviour, where a developer lets a known bug, that is game breaking, unfixed.
From my side my further behaviour is clear.
No fix for that -> no more money for your software from me!

It's very simple, Ubi canceled all work on ND since 28 Mar 2019. Ubi also never fix any post-release bugs. They fix only bugs which appear in E3 demo and that's all.

Nice example is the undiscoverable place in Northern Kyrat in FC4. 6 years, yes, SIX years and the bug is still not fixed. It's work for about 30 minutes.

To be fair, all software has a lifecycle. Games are not continually maintained perpetually, and after a period of support the game becomes an "as is" product. A non-live service game like this is going to have a one year development lifecycle at best. More than likely patches stopped coming months ago. Anyone with an expectation that glitches will be fixed should understand that isn't at all likely.

At least, not until someone takes up the hobby of reverse engineering the game and fixing things like "Silent" has done for a lot of Rockstar Games titles.

    Yes, and that is OK.
BUT the autosave freeze bug has been reported shortly after the release of FC5 and FCND, so it has nothing to do with fixing bugs of an older game.
Ubisoft is aware of this bug since a long time, but completely ignores it, with the exclusion of the statement "Status: Will not fix" that can be found HERE.
And what they try to tell us in that statement, is totally b u ll sh i t.

I lost all my progress in FC5 because of a similar bug. Yeah, it sucked. I just replayed it.

    regarding this issue:

    [PC] Game stutters when autosaving
Description: In some cases, the game's framerate can drop when saving data, particularly during autosave
    Status: Will not fix
Workaround: This stutter can be related to the low speed of the hard drive/SSD or the CPU load. Players experiencing this issue should reduce the visual settings of the game.

Sounds like an issue rooted in performance of the end user's system. I never experienced it but I don't have a disk i/o bottleneck. But yes a lot of people play games in 2020 on systems with severe disk I/O bottlenecks. There is no patching of a game that can fix that.

That's what it sounds like, yes. But I'm thinking the game may even have a (blocking) call to Ubi's servers to report some player stats.. Because even people on NVME M.2 SSD's are reporting the stutters, which I think may be more apparent when the savegame/stats progress in the game contains more data than anticipated.

Installing ArmanII's Resistance Mod and applying its autosave stutter fix manages to alleviate the issue a bit.

tcarlisle2012, i suppose that you didn't read only one of the posts from me, ArmanII and others, that definitly proof that the problem is NOT on the users site.
And honestly, i am tired to write the same things again and again.
Please, before you post more to this case, read the related threads in the PC "Support" section of this forum.
And just as an information (also given several times already), my system:
    Windows 10 Home
    ASRock Z390 Pro4 Socket 1151
    Intel Core i7-9700K CPU @ 3.60GHz, 8 Core
    16 GB RAM DDR4
    NVidia GeForce RTX 2070 Dual 8192MB DDR6
    2 x 500 GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD

And @Steve64b, unfortunately there exists no mod for FCND that reduces or removes the autosave bug.

I also have the game on NVME M.2 SSD and NG+ is due to stuttering unplayable. Again, the bug has NOTHING TO DO with your PC. It's a poorly programmed game save function.
My last discover says that the stuttering is caused by collecting statistics about the game like looted bodies, walked distance, count of used weapons, etc... and these stats are saved by Uplay and send to Ubi servers.

And what Ubi do with all these stats? They make these infographics:
