Ok. I understand there are many changes made in mechanics of how gear works and how things like seeker mines work etc, but who the hell decided to change gear I spend days grinding and destroying to get better stats, the most skill power etc? Example of the crap you've thrown at me.
seeker went from
Russian doll protocol having 5 extra mines to 3.6% healing
electric motor from 103.5% skill haste to 3.6% skill haste
ball bearings from 99.2% dmg to +1 mine
Striker Drone
Blitzkrieg powder from 278.4% damage to 3.7% deflection duration
terminal ballistics went from 178% dmg to +2 extra bombs
(this one makes no sense) Hollow Point bullets from 185.2% damage to Farking 3.7% armor repair???
Please feel free to toss more crap my way that totally makes me wonder why I paid for the season one year pass a month ago and then for the wony on top of that for them to nerf the entire damned build even things I had saved as a load-out...
See, it's way to complicated for you to understand. See. There was this super ultra algorythym we used to calculate everything and stuff so stuff would be good stuff but for you do not understand and stuff. Don't worry though, it's amazing and awesome (flashes shiny new exotic).
That's how I feel I've been talked to in the sotgs now. Thylander especially. What a liar.
What's funny is I imagined Thylander saying this even before you mentioned his name. Gonna watch tomorrow's SoTG just out of curiosity, even though I know they'll just downplay all this if they mention anything at all.Originally Posted by aimswcontroller Go to original post
Only a month and a half? Not so bad really. Most have lost months -- many months.
That said, I welcome it personally. Game need a ceiling increase and that can't be done without turning supreme builds into sub-par.
I suppose I am not upset because I literally spent months running the same build, which could not be improved in any aspect under the past RNG/Gear system and the constraints.
Change is an inevitable aspect of life.

There was almost always a way to improve a build. If tedious, a version could be made easily. A version may have been a parallel "improvement", but it was still fun if not more fun to grind for.
This new paradigm is too simple. It's way too safe. It's to the point of taking "the holy trinity of mmos" to a point of literal lunacy.
I, like many others, played this game as an rpg. It was an interesting game to buildcraft in. Now, the game builds itself, and not even in an interesting way. Look at the Sawyer's Kneepads before and after.
So SO bland.
True change is a inevitable aspect of life , but we paid for a ROCKET LAUNCHER and ended up with a FLAMETHROWER and no matches ..Originally Posted by tcarlisle2012 Go to original post
You do know there are ways to make things stronger without making old things weaker right? Otherwise you are not getting a ceiling increase, you are keeping the ceiling the same (or lowering it) if you have to reduce everything to get back there.Originally Posted by tcarlisle2012 Go to original post
The same thing is happening as with the Division 1. They screwed everything up in Update 1.3 and lost almost the entire playerbase. After the so called "ETF" they updated the gane with lot of changes to the way that is was supposed to be in the first place. I also have been tweaking my gear for several months now, just to see after the update that most iof my gear became useless. Boy, am i happy that i didn't buy Warlords of New York. For now i have uninstalled the game, because most of the time i am playing single and that is almost undoable anymore. So until i read that they "fixed" the game again, i will be playing other better games. Thank you Massive for screwing up a good game again. I guess you didn't learn anything from the mistakes with the first game.
