    Same issue

    Game was working prior to needing to do this update.

    Someone please inform if you've found a working fix for this.

    I've tried uninstalling the game and tried re=downloading several times.

    Returning playing from xbox and gotta say this is off to a crap start.

    Same problem. Downloads 60 gbs then at the very end of the download it says download failed. Download again or try later. Tried it 4 times already with the same result.

    a friend changed the host file used by tcp/ip for windows to:

    He added the following:
    23.206.242.48 uplaypc-s-ubisoft.cdn.ubi.com
    23.206.242.48 uplaypc-s-ubisoft-ww.cdn.ubi.com

    The above worked for me.

    1. Open File Explorer (Win+E) and navigate to C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\
    2. Open hosts file in Notepad++ or another text editor.
    3. Below the # comments at the bottom of the file, paste copy and paste the following lines from the above post;

    23.206.242.48 uplaypc-s-ubisoft.cdn.ubi.com
    23.206.242.48 uplaypc-s-ubisoft-ww.cdn.ubi.com

    4. Save the file, and reboot your system.
    5. Reload Uplay in Administrator mode and check if the download completes.

    For me, this was done when my download was hanging at the end of the install process.
