People are over reacting so much

Your gear is not ruined. Its just different. The goal posts have been moved but when they are moved for everybody effectively all that changed was the system ..not your effectiveness within the system. If they are getting rid of OP one shot kill epic builds..GOOD. Lets have some challenge. Game was getting to easy anyway. Your gear is just as good as it was before. Numbers are completelly irrelevant. Its where they lay on the scale of things. 99 is to 100 the same as 99,000 is to 100,000. However if you want higher level gear ..Yout going to have to go to NY. Its called an expansion. That's what expansions do. They move the goal post.

This is your opinion and cool that you have it, people just disagree.

It’s like people forgot a new expansion means they had to grind their gear over or something.

The gear changes alone killed every pre-existing build. Guess what? Go grind up to the level cap and make your build again with more powerful gear.

Only ones with a real gripe are people that didn’t buy the expansion. They’re capped at 515.

Everybody else is just crying for no reason.

No one forgot they have to grind to get new gear. We just didnt think that the hundreds of hours spent before now were gonna mean nothing. all stashed gear i had for talent rerolls, no longer even have the talents that they were saved for in the first place.

I didn't bought WONY. And all my build are trash NOT because the system is different but because they made random changes to all my pieces.
    This is bull.

White knight Ubi loyalist topic alert!

No duh people have to grind again, anyone who didn't expect things to get nerfed & having to refarm for their builds is either new or naive. We've gone through them before, however we HAVE NOT gone through a core build revamp before. That's the problem, so stop with this kissup crap to the devs about "crying for no reason, we've gone through this before". We haven't in this game, this is a wipe of the base loot system mechanics that long term players have grown accustom to.

This update is TWO parts, an expansion & total loot revamp. It's baffling that there are even a few people out there who consider & claim this like past updates. I guess some out there really have trouble identifying that this isn't simply a big expansion. Expansion & new level cap to work towards: Part of the game. Total wipe & rebuild of the gear system after a year: Pandering to pull in casual players.

Doesn't mean nothing ..Just means you need to relearn the new system. The gear is probably just as good as it was before in th enew system. Did you not enjoy all those hours. If you didn't why did you even play. ITs not useless stuff. ITS just different.

Nope. I have almost 1800hrs in this game and I just spent 30 minutes get slapped about like a noob in a challenge mission. Damage has been nerfed into the ground E.g. my 687k Nemesis now only hits for 340k(and that can't even one tap a red bar), all my gear set builds are junk, all my skill builds are broken beyond repair and the game is riddled with bugs; heck I can't even read half the gear descriptions because they will not display.

It's neither an overstatement or an exageration to say that Gear 2.0 is a deliberate progress wipe. I don't have the energy to start all over, so this game has run it's course.

    - Relearn the new system? You mean learn the new system.
    - "probably just as good", have you worked on leveling up gear yet & tried making diverse builds?
    - Different can be useless, that's why in the world some things are better than others.

Yeah like how everyone forgot about the past issues, of course.
You are in the minority who "assume" things in such a way, but if you can still enjoy the game, kudos.
