Whoever decided that we should generally drop most damage outputs for everyone was walking in the right direction. But whoever decided to include orochi should take a second to rethink that decision before going and standing in the corner for awhile.
I can understand the speed nerf on the zone and top light. Whatever, that's not my point here.
But his damage output should not have changed at all. For those of you unaware
Opener top heavy 25 from 35
Opener side heavies 28 from 30
Heavy deflect 35 from 50
Light deflect 29 from 35
How can you encourage the use of heavies and then do this to an already struggling hero? By the off chance you actually land heavies or actually pull off a heavy deflect these moves are basically no longer viable. The trade off for even attempting a heavy deflect isn't worth it. Especially with such a small health pool.
But I'm sure you all at Ubisoft expect me to go ahead and deflect a Lawbringer and tank a 30+ damage follow-up heavy and land a heavy Deflect at 35 and I'm supposed to feel rewarded while I now sit at 90health and lb still has more health, 125hp, than my own health pool, 120. Even though he should be at 105 giving us less of a disadvantage to a character that has damage like no tomorrow and a health bar long enough to land an airplane on.
This damage debuff is a serious problem. Unless you have near perfect gameplay and clairvoyant sight into the future this is not viable for orochi players.
Oh and here's a question, why debuff a special that actually takes a bit of skill and a trade off and not specials that take annoying the hell out of people and being a wanker to pull off (aka shamans bite and jorms hammer slam)
Stop feeding the "pro" players and encouraging trash gameplay because they want their lives to be easier and get everyone on an equal playing field. And if you think that's what they're doing with this orochi debuff you're part of the problem.
