I love the first Altair pic! I missed the glow because I was waiting for the "honeycomb" to clear.
    Great shot!
    PS 3rd place is good!
Just means they spent more money lol. More Helix for you on the upcoming events!

I was impressed with Kassandra in this event. I haven't even put her in Elite Training at all...

I've noticed that if you join when it starts, you'll be placed in a paying category. The more times you run it, the further down you go in rank, and the players change too. It seems to move players into different brackets. I'm not sure if it's because you use alot of helix or if it's based on the tier you're running.
I wait until the last 24 hours to start usually, including this event. I don't need these events, so I just want the Helix and I need Coral.
In Eagle's Shadow I'll wait until 12 hours left and start because I only need Maria's DNA.
If you wait, the 1st place player will be 300 - 500k so it's much easier and cheaper.

For Altair, you can slow it down by running the event once or twice a day, because your competitors will be lower, then go hard later on in the event.
But, that's why I save my Helix from the calendar, challenges and daily rewards when I need an event.
I don't waste time on chests when I have Helix saved up and just focus on rushing the last mission over and over.

Also, I re-started my subscription since Bunny is on board and listening to us. You get ALOT more Helix and other rewards and the tokens recharge super fast, so it's worth the money.

With careful planning and patience, you won't have to spend all of your helix on recharging.
Now I focus on progression toons and the rank just comes with it.

Basically, don't climb the ranks too fast or you will be competing against Jeff Bezos up there LMAO!

This is just an observation I've made and still a theory, but seems to be proven every time I play an event.
Hey, gravity is a theory too afterall!

You're welcome! I ran mission 1 on GM for an example:

You can see I'm high in the bracket, and went up. If I keep going and use all of my tickets, I'll go down to around the 8th tier rank. So the more you use the tokens the harder it is to keep up.
Also look how fast the tokens recharge. If there are none left, I think it takes 18 hours instead of 24 hours to recharge with the subscription.

By the way, I added you on reddit

Now, here you can see that in less than 1 hour I dropped to 119th place in rank 14. I don't need this event so it's a perfect test.
I think we can say that the theory is correct, and joining later in events is more beneficial and easier to get a good score. By then all of the Bezos have started fighting and spending on ranks...

Yes and I dropped that much without playing a mission for 1 hour.
I think if you wait until 36 hours (1 day, 12 hours) is left you should be safe. Complete 1 or 2 missions and see how your ranking is. The last 24 hours would be even better to get in the top 10. You'll know when you run the missions how much you go up (or down) in rank like I did in this example.
With that many tokens you could wait until 12 hours left in the event and get even better rankings. I'm seeing that the later you join the event, the better ranking you get.
Just start slow and monitor your rank. If you get too low, wait about 8 hours and then use some tokens to get a different bracket of players. Choose which rank you want and keep as close as possible but don't waste your tokens.
Think of the tortoise and the hare. Too fast and you'll use all your tickets and Bezos will pay to win.
My user name is Ima-Smakya on Reddit lol.
