    Nemesis vs Signature Weapon

I wonder why the Signature sniper doesn't scale up in damage and the nemesis does when building marksman rifle damage?
I have a sniper build with 89% marksman rifle % damage bonus and the nemesis i have scale up to 697.9k in damage while the signature sniper is grounded on a 479.2k in damage...while the shockwave talent it has should make significant more amount of damage than 400 damage, a wasp would do more damage on heroic, or legendary to talk futurwise.

The main point is: shouldn't the signature weapon scale up in damage as well and even so, feel a lot more powerful than the exotics...i do realize that exotic weapons should feel exotic, and even though it's not always meant in pure damage....but as of it is now, the grenade launcher does scale up in damage when building an explosive build, while the signature sniper doesn't scale up...maybe i missed something in that case it is fair enoug, my pointh....but as of now, to me, i have absolutely no use with the signature sniper.

    Best regards!

Agreed. I chose the sharpshooter spec as my first choice because I was really looking forward to using the signature sniper rifle. Now that I've built up a good demolitionist build, where the grenade launcher does roughly 3x as much damage as the .50 cal, and only requires that my aim be "close enough", my sharpshooter loadout has been gathering dust. (Although, I suppose one might argue that that's a case of explosive damage being a bit OP, but that amount of damage feels right to me, it feels powerful, exactly how a signature weapon SHOULD feel.)

IMO, you're absolutely right though. If the grenade launcher scales with explosive damage, then the .50 cal should scale with MMR damage. And the shockwave from it should be percent-based, not a flat amount...and its base value should be at LEAST an order of magnitude higher than the 400 dmg it currently does. The weapon just doesn't feel like it's been well thought out, tbh. I wonder what changes, if any, we'll see made to signature weapons with Gear 2.0.
