[Editor] Placing Birds (without 'Object is Clipping')..?

Sorry to bother with this, as overall I'm impressed with the automagical workings of The Editor so far - easy to figure out and things 'snap' pretty well mostly. The issue I'm running into, is with placing little Birdies in the Scene...

Placing Birds on top of Signs, etc works well, but it seems that a user cannot place a Bird in a Tree - attempting to do this, seems to always result in "Object is Clipping" (with the helpful Editor showing the item in question). I have tried placing a Bird (eg. Owl) on a Branch, just above a Branch (possibly landing once Spawned?), on the Ground near the Tree, and a bunch of other placements - none seem to work.

    Thus I must ask:
Is it possible to place Birds in Tree Objects at all?
If not, I'd like to place this into The Suggestion Box

    Thanks for any input

    Hey,

I would have thought it would work fine to put them in a tree and can't seem to see any known bugs in which they can't be so I'l forward it on anyway. Unfortunately I'm not able to test it myself from here, but maybe someone else on the forums here will be able to say if they have managed to do it any specific way?

Thanks a lot - I might be doing something totally wrong somewhere (missing a whole step, etc) - but since everything else seemed to work so fluidly and intuitively, I thought I'd bring it up... Maybe someone else can verify, yes.

    Thanks again!

No, you can't place an owl in a tree any more that you can't place an enemy in a tree. If you try, they just spawn on the ground.
