Anyway we could possibly map the Feint/Cancel function for Ps4 from O to L1. Maybe it's because I'm getting older, however I find it pretty hard for myself to be able to properly feint attacks and quickly switch the direction of my attack from said feint.

I just can't hit O and flick the right stick quick enough it seems. I'm not sure if anyone else on Ps4 console has this issue, but it does kinda stop me from really being able to compete I think. It also stops me from really wanting to try feint heavy style characters.

Explore the option menu. It is already there and been there for ages. Options> Advance Controls > Controller Layouts. Cant do too much fancy stuff with it but at least you can remap those buttons you desire. I have my feint on L2
