Ubisoft can you make a tutorial on how revenge works? Im a rep 147 and i have no clue how it works.
Why is it that some peosple can block 4 attacks, just 4 regular attacks, no GB attempts, no bashes and no unblockables and he gets revenge. Yet others can can get bashed spammed, GB spammed, lose 9/10th of their hp before they get revenge?
Yes im being 100% serious about a tutorial.
Revenge works on a tags based system. As soon as an external attacker hits you he applies a revenge tag as the system recognises that the fight has now become a 1vX situation. The more people attacking you the more revenge tags are applied. The amount of individual revenge you gain depends on the type of attack that they used on you. Without going into the specific numbers: lights and heavies build the least amount of revenge while bashes and GBs build the most amount of revenge. Parrying an external attack also builds a high amount of revenge.
Revenge tags last for 5 seconds since the last time you were hit by or blocked an external attack. If nobody throws any attacks at you for 5 seconds your revenge tags reset to 0 which means your revenge bar resets. This allows players to do coordinated ganks that end up not feeding excessive amounts of revenge if successful. Vice versa, when players just spam attacks at someone without pause they feed revenge very quickly. Also of note is the fact that once your revenge bar fills up you can hold on to your full revenge bar indefinitely as long as you remain locked on to someone.
As in, the lower your character's overall HP pool is. Revenge gain is relative to the character's overall HP pool, i.e. for example assassins gain revenge the quickest because they have the least amount of health.Originally Posted by SangLong524 Go to original post
Okay, your explanation makes sense, but im still confused as to why a BP gainee revenge in 4 hits from normal attacks, he didn't parry anyol of them, just blocked.Originally Posted by Vakris_One Go to original post

Ive been thrown around and used like a cheerleader after hours and still haven't gotten revenge while just looking at someone give them what feel like instant revenge
What people state above is probably tru on paper but it never works that way
In this game some guys live in revenge mode while some other never gets revenge.
I experienced hundreds if not thousands time playing as Nobu revenge doesnt exist for me. I would get ganked by 3 people for good few minutes attacks GBs etc and when I check my revenge meter it would be literally zero.
While some others would get revenge by blocking only 2 attacks or GB fighting 2 people.
Or there would be a 1v1 fight enemy would have 5 hp left I would only attack one and it would give revenge straight away.
Earlier we were playing Dom and I'm ganking this Jorg with another guy literally landing 2 attacks gave him revenge. No blocks no GB nothing just attack. And revenge ends he gets another revenge straight away again just by 2 attacks within seconds and we end up dying. This happened 4-5 times in the same game in TG.
My two cents. As a player who plays on significant lower then min requirement hardware. I noticed that it depends more on your CPU lag.
If you machine is lagging, and your client thinks your blocking more attacks then you should be you build revenge faster. So it possible that higher end cpus polling rate does not lag. This punishes them more per cycle.
As blocking one hit provides you aprox 100ms invulnerability. If multiple hits hit you then, you build more revenge. So if your cpu lags you may get more revenge. This may be multiplicative with latency and ping.
So I just finished playing a game of breach and in the game, I was against 3 Aramushas and 1 Jormungander that I really didn't fight against. Later in the game, I really started to notice that when I activated my revenge and one of the aramushas hit me that same time, it would not throw them to the ground. The same case applies when I attempted to throw one of the aramushas while I was in revenge and it would count as a normal throw. This was really upsetting since I was playing Jormungander. was there some nerf to revenge between yesterday and today (3/11/20)?
Note, I know you can get interrupted being knocked down if someone else hits you but I was paying close attention to such details and that was not the case for the aramushas when they failed to go to the ground.
