    Damage Reduction Testing Grounds

    all the changes are pretty nice, but pls remove this damage reduction, a lot of heroes that already have low damage will suck a lot, damage were already good, for example look at the Centurion, 12 dmg on 600ms lights.... it is just useless.

    and there are heroes with too much health, for example all heavies with "Tough as Nails" feat that improve their health + an eventually perk that improves their health pool. they will just be immortal, pls ubi don't make this damage nerf as regular damage for the game

    Your complaint doesn't make sense on a number of levels.

    1) Centurion's lights are 500ms in the live game and they are 400ms in TG. No idea why you think Cent has 600ms lights.

    2) Damage numbers were standardised for the most part across the entire cast. Kensei's side lights do 12 damage as well, as do LB's, Ara's lights, etc. The current damage numbers we have in the live game are not ok. Characters doing 40 damage from a GB or light parry is not okay. 50 plus damage from any one punish is not okay. 90-103 damage from an out of lock punish is not okay.

    3) Tough as Nails gives you two light attack's worth of extra health. Perks need a redesign in general that's not currently in the scope of the TG. The only high HP character's that would need reigning in are LB and Jiang Jun. Everyone else is fine.

    You barely had enough time to put even just 3 hours into playing this in TG before making this thread and none of your reasoning makes sense.

    1) Go check the framecheck vids of the Centurion, he has 600ms lights in the live game (maybe you're confusing yourself with its rework not released yet)

    2) standardised? what? if they were standardised every character should deal the same damage with heavies and lights, Hito with a normal heavy do 24 dmg, Cent only 20 (that damage is ridicolous as reward for a light parry), i think this is not standardised. and the damages were good before these changes, no one complained about them because they were good. with all the problems this game has the damages maybe are the less important one.

    3) if i notice a problem i must say it, actually the Health pools are a problem in this case and this is the scope of the TG, point out the problems.

    4) i have enough hours in this game to understand where are the problems, btw i was more detailed in another thread if you are interested, check "Suggestions and Feedback" on this forum, you will notice that i'm not the only fool that doesn't like these changes.

    1) You're right, I had inaccurate information on Cent.

    2) I said for the most part. 90% of the cast has lights doing 12 damage. Heavies and zones are a bit all over the shop. These damage numbers are still better than the old ones. Not sure what group you listen to but damage numbers are are a huge problem in the game and the vast majority of high level players have complained about this.

    You're perfectly free to dislike these changes just like others are perfectly free to disagree with your opinions.
