    Simply Save a Game

    After all this time, you have not even managed to create a working save system for Far Cry 5. Do you realize that this is a thing that was invented in like... the 80s? This is such a basic function to video games, yet somehow, you people managed to leave this game-breaking bug in your game for two years. As someone who has experience with programming, this is disappointing. Saving progress is elementary. There should not be any excuse for leaving this bug unattended for this long. This should be something that can be fixed in a day. This is something that should have been fixed years ago.

    I have never had such an outstanding issue in any of the other major title games I have played. My computer runs the game fine. My game did not crash, nor close improperly. I quit to desktop and went to sleep for the night. I opened the game through Uplay. I was connected to the servers. I restarted the game after searching the forum for solutions.

    Nothing. 15 hours of gameplay and progress lost.

    Ubisoft rather impletement some kind of sh** which encrypts savegames rather than make the game bug-free. Ubisoft never fix any post-release bugs, so I'm afraid this will happen also in FC6.

    Weird, I'd think the majority has no issue with games saving. If anything, it's the autosave stutter bug that's the biggest issue.

    Check your user privileges in Windows, I think the savegames are saved in UPlay's folder in "Program Files", instead of a folder generally available to the user (like their Documents or AppData folder). Could try installing Uplay & the game on a non-system (i.e. D drive.
