What the Next Far Cry Needs

Far Cry 5 and New Dawn have great gunplay, but are missing out on smarter fighting, as well as a better selection of weaponry. As this game is willing to make things like flamethrowers, LMGs, RPG's etc necessary items to take out hoards of enemies, mix it up and make it more interesting with some existing, insane weapons:

    Weapon Additions:

    • MK 19 for vehicles
    • MGL-140
    • XM25
    • Pancor Jackhammer
    • AA-12
    • .500 S&W Magnum
    • Taurus Judge
    • S2A Missiles e.g. Starstreak

You get the point, there's a lot of interesting guns out there and Far Cry would be the perfect playground for this. That being said, other improvements would be:
    • Night vision
    • Smoke and IR interactions
    • Softbody physics
    • Destructable scenery
    • Bullet penetration

This stuff would really take Far Cry to the next level. Hopefully Ubisoft will start listening to customers instead of stakeholders in order to improve their games.

Eh, not really related. The devs that would work on copyright won't be working on content. Either way, more guns are definitely needed. Just use their literal statistics to impact their play style (weight, rate of fire, length, mod capacity) and have an arsenal of guns. I want to see at least 10+ assault rifles, and 20+ pistols, in 45. ACP, 9mm and 10mm variants. But given the setting of the new Far Cry....looks like we'll be getting literally rusty **** in some bizarre mad max spin-off rather than a decent selection of weapons.
