Not saying game should be about charity, since we are talking about game direction in terms of gameplay and design, wouldn't be bad if they decided to ban your account because you said *****ing with an ! for toxicity? Look i am a player of this game, what else am i supposed to do other than give feedback, then that feedback get's conveniently ignored for seasons, later they do oposite of what they said they would do, then they focus more on monetization over quality because they want to be fortnite 2. Could you imagine if you bought red dead redemption 2 and now everyone has jetpacks on that when it was advertised as an cowboy game?Originally Posted by Birddog6424 Go to original post
Look we are both players of this game, no one here is closer to devs other than the mods so pretty everyone opinions have the same weight and giving opinions on the matter is the only thing i can do, so you saying that the answer to my problems is "**** off to another game you are wrong" isn't solving any issues is it? You know one way to make lots of money? A quality product go on, tell me how monetization doesn't affect game quality when EA litearlly started a global discussion lootboxes so the entire industry had to shift to battle passes to exploit people
This. The most annoying part of all this is the two-faced nature of how Ubisoft both sold the original game, and the deceptiveness with which they have claimed "Oh yeah, we will totally support different types of play" out one side of their mouths while butchering all other types of play out of the game like a hog with the other.Look i am a player of this game, what else am i supposed to do other than give feedback, then that feedback get's conveniently ignored for seasons, later they do oposite of what they said they would do, then they focus more on monetization over quality because they want to be fortnite 2. As time goes on, the mask keeps dropping off the face though and it is coming to a point where Ubisoft can't really pretend that they care about anything but Pro League style Bomb Defuse / Pick and Ban / AAA-DDD matches in a big generic square map. As long as Ubisoft is HONEST about that and just comes right out and says, "Hey - we are no longer interested in anything but Pro League style matches and Siege no longer will cater to anything else" then that's fine. Come out and say that - Ubisoft. Don't lie to us and claim you support other players while you are in the act of brooming everything out of the game that we want.
Seriously? I used a word you can hear everyday on network television, and that's the first thing that comes to mind? What is this...kindergarten?Originally Posted by xcel30 Go to original post
A couple of you guys are pretty naive as to where you fit in with the big scheme of things. You are in the category of "never going to make you happy" in Ubi's eyes.
They aren't going to give you what you want.
This game is no longer what you hope it will be.
None of the above is going to change for you.
Accept that and move on. You'll be happier for it.
Well i'm just saying that your mindset is also not be aligned with the devs by pointing out that you decided to bypass censor filter, since after all you are also not a developer so they could just change their mind and consider that is a bad thing and ban you, i'm not saying they will or that this thread is about censorship, simply that both me and you as players are limited to what we can do with feedback and is neither of us who decides that. Look you can disagree with me all you want but in the end of the day neither of us is actually breaking any rules and both are giving feedback so if the devs don't like my opinions, too bad i will keep pointing out flaws on their design changes that affect gameplay in negative lights in hope they actually understand my points instead of berating others opinionOriginally Posted by Birddog6424 Go to original post
You still don't understand things as they are.A couple of you guys are pretty naive as to where you fit in with the big scheme of things. You are in the category of "never going to make you happy" in Ubi's eyes.We aren't so much wanting Ubisoft to "make us happy" as you are incorrectly framing the discussion. What we are wanting is for Ubisoft to not actively work towards making us unhappy. The game had the things that made us happy in it already. We just don't want Ubisoft to take those things away anymore.
You keep incorrectly addressing the discussion from a false perspective no one is espousing and then issuing edicts based on your flawed position. Continue to do so if that pleases you, but know that your arguments are not relevant and therefore will be ignored.
And I'm telling you that what you want us not going to happen. So regardless of whatever level of attention you choose to give or not give to me, your posts are ignored by Ubi.
They have a plan, it was implemented long before you or any other poster was aware of it. They spent a long time discussing it, and that's the decision they made. They aren't changing it for you. They aren't changing it for anyone on this board. They have a "big picture " mindset that is designed to bring in new players, and it's working. They are making good decisions and the game is more popular than ever.
You seem to think I dont hear what you're saying but I do. You want it left alone. Not going to happen. They wont leave it alone for some little niche group that thinks they need the tradition and lore of R6. They are reworking and improving to appeal to everyone BUT you guys so they bring in more people not currently playing the game.
You've said it yourself. They dont care about you. You keep saying it, but fail to accept it.
On this point I agree. Clearly the developers have chosen a focus to promote the E-Sport Action-Twitch aspect of the game. I.E. They are focusing more on the Fortnite arena experience and essentially abandoning traditional R6 Tactical Realism. They have a "big picture " mindset that is designed to bring in new players, and it's working.
The complaints are an attempt to prevent the developers from actively pushing away players who do enjoy the tactical realism while there's still something left to save. Are such efforts in vain? Perhaps, but the effort still needs to be made. Terrorist Hunt isn't gone ... yet. Casual hasn't been entirely changed into nothing but a shell of Pro League ... yet. Not every map has been changed into a bland, boring, unrealistic, repetitive square ... yet. So there's still some things left to stick up for ... and this is the place to do it.
Because it is entirely possible for the developers to focus on the Action-Twitch e-sport crowd while at the same time not deliberately antagonizing the Tactical-Realism players. And it wouldn't even be particularly difficult. All that would be required would be to not remove game features and functions that already exist. There is no 'work' that needs to be done (quite the opposite). There is no 'change' in direction needed. All they would have to do is ... NOT do something. That's easy.
Siege is the only game Ubi's got right now on a growth curve, so their executives are trying to milk those wallets. I'm just letting them know there are wallets to keep in the game ... and all they have to do is NOT deliberately push those wallets out the door. Because if there comes a time when Casual, Custom, and TH are all gone and Siege is nothing but Bomb-Defuse-Only-Pick-n-Ban-AAADDD-In-a-Boring-Block? That's a path that is going to LOSE customers that they could have kept while still growing the game with the Pro League focus. You can have BOTH. Why wouldn't you want both customers if you can have them without having to do any work?
Siege might still be worth having for the special events (last years Halloween and April fools were good) but I think you are right; it's time to leave Siege for the esports fans and move on to something better in June when the RON beta comes out.Originally Posted by Birddog6424 Go to original post
Sorry but once again, your choice is for me to abandon something i like and i don't want ot do that, look you cna think of me of the boy screaming of the wolf if you want but there are many issues that are simply ignored also in gameplay department, what about current state of shield ops, what about current state of shotguns, what about the current state of the ops that re-use guns and why do they have such low pick and win rate? There are millions of issues that i can point out and give feedback to a possible solution. I never claimed to solve all the problems, i never said they cater only to me. But when they say years ago that they are nerfing thatcher to adjust something later that same season and more than an year go by, i will ask questions on why among other issues that were left open. Like so many people pointed out, oryx loudout will be MP5 and baliff, using spas and USP will simply be such unoptimal way to play that you are most likely going to get kicked and TK accused of "throwing and trolling", that means we have a loudout issue with that character, why not address that issue and discuss it.Originally Posted by Birddog6424 Go to original post
Look you might thinkg of me as someone who just hates the game, but i also explain to people mechanics they didn't know, i tell them about noob behaviour that will get them killed, i post information devs don't post here such as the patchnotes of big patches, i raise question about other gameplay issues (why do supressors damage is incosistent?), i report bugs with video evidence and so on, i want this game to be great, i understand i won't get everything i want but that doesn't mean pushing me like i am a leper just because i mentioned older games
Well then move on, there is so much games you dont have to play something you dont like.
But sieges player count is rising every single month so people are happy what ubi is doing so why should they listen little majority who cry every single thing they change. Almost every single player who blame pro league or something like that is casual player who doesent even put so much time in siege. Not all but most of them.
Siege is five year old game and still every single dlc is free and update is free almost every single skin is avaible without real money. Ofc ubi wanna make money so they can support siege. Esports is big part of it. BUT THERE IS NO source that only thing they listen is pro players, cos its not true. Its something that has been stuck in your head. There is literally millions ranked players who wants that siege is more competive and balanced.
Move on if you don like it.
