Dear Dev teams
To the Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Division 2 and Rainbow Six Siege development Teams,
First of, big fan of your work! My friends and I have been enjoying your games a lot. Considering how things are going here in Chile, I just want to go home and play games after a long day. And your games have allowed me to just relax and play with my pals countries away. So thanks for that👍
Now, having talk with some of them and brainstorming some of my own I had some ideas for my favorite properties 😊.
GHOST RECON
Sci-Fi Trinity
Now let me be the first to say it. We LOVED the Predator and Terminator events. They were just a blast to playthrough, from the linea, to the cosmetics, to the weapons. My friends Dave, Dan, Israel and me were just quoting every line we could think of to reenacting scenes from the movies. Now me in a moment of either brilliance or ****posting 😂 I said: "Hey look at it this way. We are avenging Bill Paxton. We got the Predator, the T-800, the Xenos are next!"
So after talking with them, I brainstorm a lot and thought "hey this could work." The Alien lore allows for environments outside a space station. It could either be an underground temple as seen in AVP (connecting it to the Wildlands event 😉
or a downed engineer ship in Aurora for that alien/aliens vibe. Best of all? You can capitalize on the joke and call this:
The Paxton Payback Pack.
Think about it, since in the Terminator event we already have Paxton's haircut, as rewards not only you get the Hudson outfit or armor pieces but you can add in the full punk outfit and the Detective Outfit he wore in Predator 2 as well as the weapons from each movie. I mean you already have the 3D printer in the terminator event and most of the Colonial Marines Weaponry could be seen as just prototypes and such. Trust me every 80s-90s movie fan will LOVE IT!
Add a intro to the Paxton payback...Bill Paxton is a iconic actor to those series (Predator, aliens, terminator ) . What better playable character and voice lines than and homage to this franchise than to add the Paxton payback as a dlcs....of something to that effect. Imagine every time you get down your nomad says "Game Over man! Game over!
Kept us waiting, huh?
Now it should come off as no news to you but Metal Gear is dead. No easy way to say it. To quote Sam in the Wildlands Splinter Cell event "Its only me." But wanna maximize interest in a already cool game and bring in new fans? Some of my friends and I also felt like we were playing either Snake Eater or Peace Walker when we sneaked through Aurora fighting both PMCs, Bosses with weird names 😂and fighting AI controlled tanks.
But what was another joke or a reference "There was another guy, army infiltration specialist", could also be great opportunity for another event/side mission. Just have say Holt telling nomad that a homesteader picked up a message from a unknown individual.
Of course Nomad follows it to a base and we cut to a cutscene of someone beating up wolves with his bare hands and Nomads says something along the lines of: "You. You were the specialist assigned to one of our choppers. I didn't get your name."
And of course voiced by David Hayter the soldier says "My name is… My name is Pliskin."
And we get an almost lengthy dialogue of Pliskin explaining that aside from taking out Walker if the opportunity presented itself, he was sent by an old friend to investigate a new kind of unmanned drone described as a "a walking nuclear dead mobile" 😎👉👉 so of course after a couple of missions, references and a boss fight; back at the cave Pliskin says that he will do his best to contact his team but so far it seems like they are on his own. As Nomad leaves, Pliskin struggled to light up a cigarette and we hear a voice from his comm. No other than-
Michael Ironside.
"Come in?"
"Sam can you hear me?"
"Loud and clear."
"Kept you waiting huh? The new drone has been neutralized and I've managed to regroup with surviving Ghosts. They'll handle the island, in the meantime I'll stay keeping an eye on them. When the cavalry arrives I'll make my exist."
"Age hasn't slow you down one bit has it David (Solid Snake's real name)? What now? Back to retirement?"
"Alaska has nice weather this year."
"I bet. Say, I know your exit wasn't glamorous. And these days is hard to tell who you can trust to have your back. And, well I can handle working with young blood but sometimes is better to keep it between oldtimers like ourselves. And it just happened that we have an opening in our team."
Pliskin finally lights up his cigarette and smokes it.
"Tell me more."
And just like that, you can hype even MORE the Splinter Cell brand. I mean a stealth game featuring David Hayter and Michael Ironside? Big win. Hell if you have David's character in COOP it would just DEMOLISH the competition.
Rainbow Six Siege
Seeing as how you have games that implement night vision and such, I think I found a way to balance it out for R6 now this will have to be an event say the Zombies, Halloween, Six invitational and such. But just like in others, imagine a hostage rescue centrict at night BUT at the preface for attackers they will all have a kind of twitch drone (that only shoots a type of projectile that affects generators) and aside from looking for the hostage are looking for fuze boxes that they can either shoot off or mark.
If shoot off, all lights in a specific section of the map will go off and attackers will switch to night vision while defenders (taking a cue of spies versus mercs) will be granted a flashlight in their guns.
Now of course the balance. Night vision will illuminate from a certain range, say 10 meters and can get blinded by the flash lights. And while the flashlight has longer range, it wobbles while moving, turns off when switching weapons or melee.
This also give you for more Night Vision inspire gear and Splinter cell cosmetics for operators. Hell if the mode works well it could be a standard for competitive play.
I appreciate the teams of all games for their hard work and continued support for both games and thank you all for the great times me and my friends have with both games. Keep all the good work and thank you for reading this mail.
Sincerely,
-Naxo
