Hello everyone !
I know this has been asked countless times but since nothing seems to happen I figured I'd add my stone to the cairn by making - yet another - thread about capes.
Capes always have divided mankind into two categories, those who love them and those for whom the sight of a cape is an endless source of discomfort and shivers down the spine. I'm afraid I belong in the second category.
Therefore, would it be possible for this game to finally have the option to hide capes on the characters that have one ?
I truly believe it would be an easy thing to do and it would please a lot of people and by a lot, I mean half of the community like stated above.
The art team of this game is making an incredible job at making new cosmetics, expanding color palettes, even letting the players decide the gender of their favorite character for most of them. Why not let them choose too on something that basically every other medieval/fantasy game let's you do, which is turning on/off capes.
On top of that, the capes presence is imbalanced. Indeed, only Nuxia and Highlander are forced to always have a cape, for other characters, like for example Jiang Jun, the cape isn't always there, it depends on the chosen armor. It's quite not fair for Nuxia and Highlander. I completely understand that the cape for those two is a probably what defines them, but it's troubling if you dislike capes as much as I do.
Also, if the "Hide Cape" option isn't a possibility, could Highlander and Nuxia at least have one armor without a cape ? Just for the sake of equality. No matter the look of it I know I would stick with it forever on my dear Nuxia.
I dearly hope this message, this cry for the freedom to have no cape, gets to Ubisoft one day.
